Firework complaint

My husband and I are seniors and we have lived in the Pinehurst area for the past 15 years.

Each Fourth of July, we live in hell, fireworks are fun for some people but not for us.

We have a neighbor who sets off home like fireworks from 4pm-11pm each year,

The fireworks are nothing like the ones like the Lions Club sells. Which we don’t have any problem with each year. But when your house shakes and rattles the windows and our dogs are afraid to go out and urinate during this time it is that bad.

The local law enforcement have warned them but nothing is ever done. The family is related to people in power in the county and the Sheriff’s Dept. must be afraid of them.

Why can’t we have a limit on what we have to put up with during this time? We are seniors and are unable to leave our home anymore for the day.
