KPD Roll Call June 5-12

•Patrolled the paved streets in Kellogg (Yeah, you know where this is going), that took all of 5 minutes. Then put on my kidney belt and patrolled the rest of Kellogg.

•Attempted to make contact with the owner of a camp trailer on Elder that was blocking part of the roadway. Neg contact.

•Shoplifting call at Yokes. Report taken.

•Assist K77 with a domestic on Riverside.

•Responded to malicious injury to property on the 100 block on Silver St. After investigating the matter, discovered three juveniles were involved. Parents were contacted and victim wanted to work the incident out among themselves.

•Dispatched to a 911 hang-up at the intersection of Helen St. And W. Riverside. Ended up finding the reporting party and after conducting my investigation, found out a domestic battery had occurred. Male was arrested and transported to jail.

•Attempted paper service up Moon Gulch. Found out the individual no longer lived at that residence.

•Called to an intoxicated individual brandishing a firearm in the parking lot of Silver Mt. After speaking with both parties, found out no weapon had been brandished or one being present. Male was later placed on a detox hold by K74 at the jail.

•Assisted County with a motorist assist in Smelterville.

•Domestic called in via 911. 100 block of W. Riverside. K77 took one male into custody, assisted with interviews.

•Landline request for information to be given.

•Report of a male subject showing a firearm in the Silver Mountain Parking lot. Upon contacting subjects, an drunk adult male was taken into custody on a detox hold and no firearm was recovered or seen by witnesses (unfounded for Assault or any Crime). Probation will be dealing with said drunk male while he is in custody. Transported to PSB for Detox.

•Agency Assist. County unit requesting cover on motorist assist 200 block of Main St. in Smelterville. Once subjects were detained and situation was under control, K74 cleared.

•Called to a person that refused to leave Cameron Conoco. Turns out he was refused the purchase of alcohol and then refused to leave. K73 helped him leave by taking him for a detox.

•Unwanted subject at McDonalds subject was gone on arrival. Clear, Necessary Action Taken (NAT).

•Traffic stop 500 block of Wardner for no plates. Clear, citation for failure to register motor vehicle.

•Assist K75 with male metal detecting in a yard. Cleared NAT.

•Foot Patrol Mission and alleys.

•Traffic stop on 100 block of Wardner. Cleared verbal.

•Assist K76 with traffic stop up Wardner. Cleared agency assist.

•Animal complaint 500 block of Bunker. Cleared unfounded.

•Unwanted subject at McDonald’s subject was gone upon my arrival.

•Called to Mill St. for male with out-of-state plates walking around with a metal detector and digging in the front yard. Cleared public assist.

•Out of control juvenile end of shift. Cleared arrest.

•Assisted K75 with his arrest of a runaway juvenile on Chestnut.

•Handled a civil standby on the 700 block of S. Division.

•Continued follow-up on a pending case.

•Citizen contact on the 100 block of W. Mission.

•Conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Cameron Ave. & N. Division. Cited three juveniles for curfew violations. Now this might seem harsh, but they had been warned several times about the curfew and after the resent break-ins, warning are not working.

•Mobile and stationary patrols of Kellogg and Wardner.

•Follow-up on active investigation. Interviews will be conducted tomorrow.

•Assisted K77 on his traffic stop with citation issuance.

•Foot patrols and building checks on Bunker Ave. Open doors found and buildings cleared.

•Foot patrols on McKinley. Open doors found and buildings cleared, code 4.

•Citizen contact at the Old Reco’s Muffler sitting in a vehicle in the parking lot. New car and was working on syncing phone with vehicle. Nothing further other than a chat with a new resident.

•Vicious dogs behind Shoshone glass, one was loose. After an hour K75 was able to get it into his vehicle.

•Called to the Silver Mountain apartments for an unlawful entry, however upon arrival there were no signs of forced entry and the apartment was cleared everything was code 4.

•Traffic stop in the 200 block of East Market. Cleared verbal for speed.

•Reports.

•ATL on erratic driver RP didn’t want contact. Was able to get behind vehicle however was not driving crazy. Cleared NAT.

•Called to 104 for welfare check. Cleared subject code 4.

•Report of dog chasing customers from Shoshone Glass. K75 and 76 were able to catch the dog with the help of a male with a nice Harley Davidson. He provided the treats to lure the dog into the vehicle.

•Unwanted subject in the 700 block Bunker Ave. K75 and 76 cleared the building. 76 took the info report.

•Erratic driver on Cameron Ave. Cleared NAT.

•Called to commerce building for motorist locked out of her car. Cleared public assist.

•Speed emphasis on the construction on McKinley.

•Assisted K75 with a motorist assist on E. Station.

•Conducted a traffic stop on Legion. Cleared verbal warning.

•Released a dog from the pound.

•Report of a possible drunk driver on a motorcycle at Yokes. Located the individual driving but was unable to observe any driving patterns indicating that they were intoxicated. Even spoke with the individual once they arrived at home and did not discover any indications of impairment.

•Dispatched to a dog complaint on the 200 block of E. Riverside. After a couple of attempts, K76 finally made contact with the residents. Cleared with a verbal warning.

•Assisted K74 with a domestic on the 100 block of E. Portland.

•Verbally warned bicyclists at the Cameron Conoco about required equipment for night time riding.

•Conducted a traffic stop on the 300 block of E. Cameron Ave. Cleared verbal warning.

•Received a call regarding possible child abuse at Silver Mt. All parties involved live in Spokane and were no longer in Idaho. Call with continue pending more follow-up.

•Attempted to catch a dog at large on Bunker Ave. but was unable lure it in. Dog ended up running away and K74 and I were unable to locate the dog.

•Follow-up on active investigation with interviews.

•Possible DUI leaving Yoke’s parking lot. K77 found and made contact, not alcohol related.

•Animal complaint 200 block of E. Riverside. Contacted party responsible for dog barking and windows were closed (dog was already inside but on initial contact nobody was home).

•Domestic Battery/Simple Battery 100 block of E. Portland, juveniles involved. Both parties released to parents, report taken and to be forwarded to Prosecutor.

•Reports.

•Dog at large in the 700-800 block of Bunker. Located Husky puppy, but could not get close enough to introduce and become friends. Still running most likely.

•Building checks and open doors were found. Buildings were searched without incident.

•Called to 600 block of 2nd St. for “laser lady”. Info report generated and “laser lady” has been trespassed from the RP’s address.

•Welfare check 100 block of W Mullan Ave. Subject was code 4.

•Shoplifting report from IGA charges will be submitted.

•Landline request regarding civil issue. Someone was trying to repossess a vehicle and one of the parties were not answering the door, did not know where the person with the keys was located.

•Parking ticket issued Division at I90 for being parked in yellow.

•Traffic stop Bunker and Wildcat Way, citation for speed 37/25. Even after passing the speed sign that was flashing at them.

•Traffic stop Bunker and Hill verbal warning for fail to obey traffic sign (did not use the turn lane on Hill St. but proceeded right from Hill and Railroad with the sign that says no right turn).

•Open door at Les Schwab, building searched conducted. Contacted key holder and took them to the store to lock it all up. It was not forced entry, but someone forgot to lock the door.

•Domestic in progress 100 block of E. Portland, turns out it was nothing to do with a Domestic issue but rather a dog complaint. One party given a warning about their dog getting loose.

•Notified of a male subject walking around and inside the City Irrigation shed at Teeter’s Field, located and contacted and adult male. After finding garage door open, contacted Public Works Superintendent to come identify items that may have been removed from the building. After confirmation, had him view the subject detained and confirm that he did not have permission to be inside or take anything. Said adult male was arrested for burglary and transported without incident.

•Call from K77 about a male breaking into one of the sheds on teeters field. Male subject ended up getting arrested for burglary by K74. Cleared assist.

•Dispatched to Amy Lynns for verbal domestic. Found out upon arrival it more of a dog complaint and threats were made. Parties had already been separated. Cleared peace restored.

•Tagged abandoned vehicle in Steins parking lot for 48-hour notice.

•Crazy wind storm that only lasted about 5 minute but knocked down several trees in town.

•Assist K72 with kids outside playing call.

•Traffic stop on 100 block N Hill St, for white light emitting from the rear. Cleared citation issued for no valid driver’s license

•Traffic stop on Riverside and N Division for no turn signal. Cleared citation issued for no proof of insurance.

•Traffic stop on 700 block of S Division near Wardner for speeding. Cleared verbal.

•Dispatched to SMC for agency assist for SCSO. Male subject who had ingested drugs was being confrontational. Cleared other agency assist.

•Dispatched to Pinehurst for agency assist for SCSO. Verbal domestic that was physical. Transported female subject to SCSO. Cleared other agency assist.

•Traffic stop on I90 near exit 48 for no plates. Cleared verbal.

•Towed a tagged vehicle from the IGA parking lot.

•Traffic stop in the Fairbridge parking lot. Verbal for speed.

•Motorist assist on the 50 westbound on ramp for a semi blocking the ramp. Cleared public assist.

•Report of a missing 5-year-old. Turns out not missing but he had went to sleep under some covers and they did not see him.

•Assist medical with a 16-year-old female that crashed her bike and hit her head. Cleared other agency asst.
