THURSDAY, MARCH 8

ABLE (savings/investment accounts for people with disabilities and their families) workshops and one-on-one time in Kellogg and Wallace. Wallace workshop from 10 to 11:30 a.m. and one-on-one time from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Wallace Historic Visitor Center, 10 River St, Wallace. Kellogg workshop from 4-5:30 p.m. and one-on-one time from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Kellogg Senior Center, 211 W McKinley Ave., Kellogg. Come to learn the who, where, what, why and how of opening and using an ABLE account.

Story time at the Osburn Public Library from 11 a.m. to noon., 921 Mullan Ave., Osburn. For ages 0-5. Singing, crafts, stories and snacks. Event reoccurs every Thursday.

FRIDAY, MARCH 9

Live music with Dr. Phil & the Enablers at 6:30 p.m. at the Snake Pit.

Live music with Pamela Jean from 8-11 p.m. at Noah’s Canteen, 610 Bunker Ave., Kellogg.

Friday night dance at the Kellogg Senior Center from 7-10 p.m. every Friday. Music by Jerry and Faith.

Child Find Developmental Screenings at the Kellogg School District Community Center, 810 Bunker Ave., Kellogg. Developmental screenings are offered free of charge and include children ages birth to five. Offered by the Kellogg, Wallace and Mullan School Districts, the Infant Toddler Program, Head Start program and Early Head Start Program. Appointments for this event can be made by contacting the Silver Valley Special Services Developmental Preschool Program at 208-556-7202.

Shoshone County Community Concert Association presents Coeur d’Alene Big Band performing Swing, Waltz, Latin and more. 2 p.m. at Wallace Jr./Sr. High School. High school students and children admitted free.
