WALLACE — The Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office currently has more than 1,000 active warrants.

Most warrants for contempt or failing to appear may be taken care of by contacting the court and/or paying the unpaid fines.

If anyone knows the location of a wanted person, they can contact their local law enforcement agency or the Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office at 208-556-1114.

Misdemeanors:

- Andrew James Thompson, 42, Smelterville, Idaho. Fail to appear for driving without privileges, $1,000.

- Chad Aron Shelley, 33, Wallace, Idaho. Fail to appear for petit theft, $1,500.

- Benjamin Keith Stewart, 44, Kellogg, Idaho. Fail to appear for battery, $300.

- Ryan L. Stafford, 29, Pinehurst, Idaho. Fail to appear for driving without privileges, $1,000.
