13:46 Fire and EMS crews responded to Commerce Drive in Smelterville for a patient with chest pain. The patient was assessed and transported to SMC for further care.

03/07/2018

10:47 Fire and EMS crews dispatched to the Dave Smith PDI lot for a fall. Fire and EMS crews treated the Patient and EMS crews transported the patient to SMC for further care.

10:59 EMS crews were dispatched to Kellogg for a patient that had a ski accident. Crews quickly treated and transported the patient to SMC for further evaluation.

12:26 EMS crews were dispatched to a patient having seizures. EMS crews treated the patient and the patient refused transport to the hospital.

13:19 Dispatched to Maple Ave in Pinehurst for a Life alert. Updated no medical needed all fire and EMS cleared.

03/08/2018

02:25 Dispatched to 601 Bunker for a possible seizure, patient did not have a seizure but had a panic attack. Patient refused transport.

09:10 Fire and EMS crews responded to Division St in Pinehurst for a patient possibly having a stroke. The patient was assessed and transported to SMC for further care.

10:13 Fire and EMS crews responded to Old Farm Rd in Pinehurst for a diabetic emergency. The patient was assessed and monitored until blood sugar was back to normal levels.

00:42 Fire and EMS crews responded to Division St in Pinehurst for a report of a combative patient. Arrived on scene to find the patient had calmed down and the patient was cooperative throughout the assessment and was left with a caretaker without incident.

18:47 Dispatched to Second Street for a fall. Patient was assisted to their feet and then refused transport.

23:25 EMS responded to Burke Rd. for a patient who was having a seizure. Crew treated and transported to SMC.

03/10/2018

00:51 Fire and EMS personnel responded to Pinehurst for a lift assist. The patient was lifted off the floor and taken to their bed.

16:27 Person walked into the station stated they found a low hanging wire. Upon investigation it was determined to be a non hazardous wire. Suddenlink contacted all fire crews clear.

18:08 Fire and EMS crews responded to Silver Rapids for a patient who was sick.

03/11/2018

00:18 Fire and EMS crews responded to Bunker Ave. for a patient with pain.

09:28 EMS crews responded to Mullan for an unresponsive patient. Upon arrival the patient was awake and talking. Crews quickly treated and transported the patient to SMC for further evaluation.

11:05 Non-Emergent transfer from Smelterville to Shoshone Medical Center.

11:07 EMS crews responded to the Smelterville area for a patient with internal bleeding. Patient was transported to SMC for further testing and treatment.

13:46 Fire and EMS crews responded to mile marker 62.5 WB for a vehicle fire. The bed of a truck had caught fire while driving and burnt a few items and was put out by the driver with a fire extinguisher. No injuries and minor damage.

17:30 Fire and EMS responded to Smelterville for a patient with abdominal pain. The patient was taken to Shoshone Medical Center for treatment.

02:42 Fire and EMS responded to Smelterville for a patient with chest pain. The patient was taken to Shoshone Medical Center for treatment.

10:42 Dispatched to South Division St. in Pinehurst for a medical call. Patient assessed and signed refusal form.

14:02 Dispatched for a Medical transfer. Ambulance assisted by fire crew to move patient into patient’s home.

15:22 EMS crews responded to a person that was riding their motor bike and was ran off the road by a vehicle. Patient was wearing a helmet and sustained a laceration and puncture to the hand. Patient was transported to SMC for wound care.

17:13 Dispatched to a Brush fire next to the Mission Inn in Cataldo. Fire extinguished approximately 200 feet by 200 feet.

17:15 Fire crews responded to the Sunny Slopes area of Osburn for an odor investigation. No odor found and residents were informed to call back if odor came back and to advise Avista.

17:22 Dispatched to Rose Lake interchange for a dumpster fire. Fire put out, fire crew cleared the area.

06:06 Dumpster fire at the Rose lake interchange fire extinguished and all fire personnel clear.

09:43 EMS crews responded to Garden Ave. in Osburn for a patient with difficulty breathing. Patient was treated and transported to Kootenai Health per medical control and patient’s primary physician.

3/14/2018

13:03 Dispatched to S. Division St. in Pinehurst for a medical call. Patient assessed and transported to Shoshone Medical Center.

19:45 An Individual walked into the Pinehurst Fire station stating that they

locked their car keys in the car at the Post Office. An engine went over to investigate. A friendly neighbor was able to unlock the door. Shout out the community coming together to help someone in need.

21:42 EMS crews responded to King street in Wallace for 96 year old male that had fallen and needed assistance getting back up. Patient denied any injury and refused transport by ambulance.
