Flora Giovanna Gosline, 92
Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend Flora (Condotta) Gosline, 92, of Mullan, Idaho, passed away March 10, 2018 at the Providence Portland Medical Center of Portland, Oregon. Flora was born on April 19, 1925 in Missoula, Montana to Angelo and Angela (Marconato) Condotta.
Flora moved to the Silver Valley with her family in the 8th grade from Montana. She has been a life long resident ever since. Flora attended and graduated from the Mullan High School in 1943.
On October 25, 1943, Flora was united in marriage to Harry “Blair“ Gosline, in Vancouver, Washington. Together they had three children. Blair passed away in 2006.
Flora was a homemaker helping to raise her three children. She was a proud member of the St. Michael’s Catholic Church of Mullan. She also was a member of any and all social clubs here in the valley. She enjoyed playing cards, swimming, playing badminton and traveling. Flora and Blair enjoyed traveling to Arizona every year for the start of spring training. They could be found cheering on their favorite team- the Chicago Cubs. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Flora is survived by her three children, Randy (Mary) Gosline, Debra (Steve) Giroux-Cooper and Brian (Susan) Gosline; ten grandchildren, Geo Giroux, Angie Giroux & Jerod Patterson, Gina (Jason) Langbehn, Aimee Giroux & Joe Macklin, Nicolas Giroux, Jill (CJ) Nagel, Alexander (Katie) Gosline, KC (John) Prasch, Natalie Gosline and Anthony Gosline; nine great-grandchildren Hannah, Gemma, Blair, William, Gabe, Reagan, Matthew, Peter and Margot. Flora is also survived by her brother Lino Condotta and several nieces and nephews. Flora was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Blair and her sister Helen Dooling.
A Rosary Service will be held on Friday, March 23, 2018 at 10:00 A.M., followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 A.M. at the St. Michael’s Catholic Church of Mullan with Father Jerome Montez serving as celebrant. Burial will take place at the Mountain View Cemetery of Mullan. A reception/luncheon will be held in the Church Fellowship Hall following the Funeral Mass. A viewing/visitation will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 12:00 Noon - 4:00 P.M. at the Kellogg Funeral Chapel of Kellogg.
