| March 21, 2018 3:39 PM

Henry “Hank” Odegard, 72, of Eagle, Idaho, passed away March 17, 2018, after a long-term illness. He was born in Myrtle Point, Or., to Henry and IIa Odegard.

During his life he served in the military, law enforcement, the U.S. Forest Service and he initiated the start of the Prichard Quick Response Unit, and numerous other occupations. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, gardening, his friends and pets, and living in beautiful North Idaho.

He is survived by his longtime friend, Daniel Frigard of Eagle; his brother, Leo; sister Betty; numerous nephews and nieces that were very close to their uncle (all from Oregon), the entire Frigard family and their spouses (all from Washington), that treated Hank as part of their family, and all the friends he made during his lifetime.

He was always willing to help others out when they needed it, and he will be truly missed. At Hank’s request, no memorial service will be held.
