Stephen Lawrence Plew, 75

Beloved son, brother, uncle, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully March 14, 2018 at Shoshone Medical Center of Kellogg. He was born November 5, 1942 in San Francisco, CA.

In his younger years, Stephen spent time in Southern Idaho working in the potato industry. Later in life, he was dedicated to working on the oil rigs in Louisiana. He was also very devoted to his parents and took care of them until they passed.

In his spare time, Stephen loved to fish and hunt. It was often said that hunting and fishing were his life. His favorite place to fish was Killarney Lake in beautiful North Idaho. He also adored spending time with his nephews in Alaska, enjoying the great outdoors.

Stephen is survived by his sister, Cheryl Lee of Tucson, Arizona; as well as his two nephews Lee Plew of Spokane, Washington and Bruce Melton of Seattle, Washington. Stephen was preceded in death by: his stepfather, his mother, Judith, his brother, Lee Plew and his sister, Marie Melton.

Cremation will take place; private family services will be held at a later date.
