Anne Louise Storey, 75

| March 29, 2018 10:10 AM

On the morning of March 24th 2018, Anne Louise Storey, 75, of Cataldo, passed peacefully and with grace, at The Lodge Assisted Living in Coeur d’Alene where she resided. She left this earth to go play her piano and sing with the heavenly angels.

She was born on September 19th, 1942 in Snohomish, Washington to Russell and Evelyn Schell. Anne was a farmer’s wife, mom, grandma, great momma and friend.

Anne spent her younger years in Sunnyside Washington before moving to the Silver Valley and graduating from Kellogg High School. She went on to study at a bible college in Wisconsin where her 1st son, John, was born in April of ’69. She returned to the Silver Valley and worked as a CNA. New Year’s Eve of ’74 she met the love of her life, Ralph. They married 30 days later. In November of ’75 the welcomed their daughter, Rebekah. Another son, Michael was born in August of ’78.

Anne was first a wife and a mother. She was a pre-school and Sunday school teacher, piano player and she loved to sing. She was a substitute teacher and chaperoned field trips. After Ralph died, in ’96, Anne worked for her daughter Bekah as a daycare provider and Curves Trainer. Before her retirement in 2013, due to health problems, she drove for Northwest Medical Transport, which she loved because she had such a huge heart for her clients.

Anne is survived by her children: John and (Pat) Storey of Kingston, Bekah and (Charles) Gay of Coeur d’Alene, and Michael and (Russelle) Storey of Cataldo. Grandkids: Elizabeth, Jesse, Anthony, Rylee, Emma, Jaeger, Wyatt, Colton and Peyton. Great grandboys: Jaxson and Jameson. Anne was preceded in death by her parents and husband Ralph.

We would like to thank The Lodge Assisted Living for the amazing care and love they gave our mom for the last 15 months.

We love you and miss you so much, Mom, as you are the glue to our family.
