IDL reports controlled burns near Bear Creek

CATALDO – Idaho Department of Lands Fire Warden Kjell Tresdell reports that personnel with Inland Forest Management will be conducting a controlled burn in the Bear Creek area of Shoshone County today.
The smoke will be visible by individuals anywhere between Enaville and the north ridge near the Shoshone County Airport in Smelterville.
Those who see this smoke are asked to not panic, as this burning is a planned operation that will carry on through the remainder of Thursday, May 3.
