Vote for Incumbent, Patrick “Mike” Fitzgerald, for Commissioner

| May 7, 2018 3:08 PM

Mike will be running for re-election as County Commissioner, District 1. We need folks like Mike who have proven track records in community engagement, as well as education and experience, in positions of leadership. Throughout the 17 years that we have been friends and neighbors, I have witnessed Mike’s commitment to the community, his leadership ability, and his vision for a strong and vibrant Shoshone County.

On a community level, Mike has demonstrated clear leadership by serving on the KSD 391 School Board and the Kellogg Planning and Zoning Board, coaching softball, and actively assisting with the the Silver Bee Community Garden.

In respect to education and experience, Mike has a bachelor’s degree in geophysical engineering and a master’s degree in environmental engineering. His decades of experience as a civil engineer include advisory positions with local, state, and federal agencies, including the Idaho Transportation Department.

Mike’s enthusiasm for this beautiful place we call home is apparent to all who know him. As commissioner, he has been working hard for the past three years to make this county a better place to raise/educate children and a friendlier place for businesses.

Please mark your calendar for the May 15the primary, go to your polling place, request a democratic ballot, and select Patrick “Mike” Fitzgerald for County Commissioner.

Diannah Fields-Brown,

Kellogg, Idaho.
