Silver Mountain open this weekend

| May 9, 2018 2:44 PM

KELLOGG – Dave Smith Motors is providing free lift tickets to Silver Mountain Resort this weekend, May 12-13.

With an above average season bringing more than 415” of snow to Kellogg Peak, there’s still plenty of great spring skiing to be had. Chairs 1 & 2 and the carpet lift will be open, as will the terrain park. There will be live music, a barbecue, and an outside bar on the mountain top.

Non-skiers can enjoy a free scenic gondola ride and listen to some great music in a beautiful outdoor setting at 5,700’. Opening this late in the season only happens once or twice in a decade, so be sure to come up for some of the best spring skiing in recent years.

Silver Mountain Resort is located in the Bitterroot Mountains of North Idaho and is the only resort in the Inland Northwest still open. Free lift tickets can be picked up in person at the ticket window on Saturday and Sunday. The gondola will upload at 8:15 a.m. and the last chair will be 3:30 p.m.
