FLOODPLAIN Preliminary Notice Shoshone County Fire District #1 intends to seek financial assistance from USDA, Rural Housing Service (RHS) for construction of a new fire station. The proposed project consists of constructing a 10,588 square foot fire station and EMT Center at 58738 Silver Valley Road, in the City of Osburn. If implemented, the proposed project will convert approximately 1.75 acres of floodplain located on a lot of 2.51 acres. The site has currently been altered before the District applied for Federal Assistance.
