NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS KELLOGG MUNICIPAL CODE AMENDMENTS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kellogg City Council will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at Kellogg City Hall, 1007 McKinley, and Kellogg Idaho 83837. The purpose of the hearing is to review proposed amendments to the Kellogg Municipal Code and render a decision. The amendments to the Kellogg Municipal Code include: Repeal of Title 11, Land Use Regulations of the Kellogg Municipal Code and replace it with a new Title 11, Land Use Regulations, and Repeal of Title 12, Subdivisions of the Kellogg Municipal Code and replace it with a new Title 12, Subdivisions, and Repeal of Title 1, Chapter 14, Area of City Impact of the Kellogg Municipal Code and replace it with a new Area of City Impact ordinance to be placed in Title 11-11-8, Land- Use Regulations Area of City Impact. The effect of these amendments would be to provide clarification to regulations, update regulations, provide for new processes, further implement goals and policies of the Kellogg Comprehensive Plan, and provide a new Area of City impact agreement with Shoshone County. FLOODPLAIN Preliminary Notice Shoshone County Fire District #1 intends to seek financial assistance from USDA, Rural Housing Service (RHS) for construction of a new fire station. The proposed project consists of constructing a 10,588 square foot fire station and EMT Center at 58738 Silver Valley Road, in the City of Osburn. If implemented, the proposed project will convert approximately 1.75 acres of floodplain located on a lot of 2.51 acres. The site has currently been altered before the District applied for Federal Assistance.
