Michael Joseph Bromley, 64

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, son and brother, Michael Joseph Bromley, 64, of Wallace, Idaho, passed away May 22, 2018, at the Schneidmiller House in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. He was born July 5, 1953, in Highland Park, Mich. Michael was the son of Thomas F. and Joan (Charters) Bromley.

Michael attended and graduated from Western High School in Las Vegas, Nev., in 1971.

Michael married Cynthia Lundberg on April 21, 1974, in Ferndale, Mich.

Michael moved to the Silver Valley in 1977 from Las Vegas.

Michael absolutely loved and was most proud of being a miner. He had worked at the Sunshine Mine, the Galena, the Bunker Hill Mining Company, the Lucky Friday, the Stillwater Mine of Montana and various other mines.

Michael was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Osburn, Idaho. He loved and enjoyed his family, gardening, reading, exploring mines, walking and visiting with his friends. Michael also loved working in the woods and being in the outdoors.

Michael is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Cynthia Bromley, of the family home in Wallace; two daughters, Colleen (Robert) Schrock of Smelterville, Idaho, and Brieanne Bromley of Wallace; his grandchildren, Ian Shreves, Samuel Hollis and Robert Schrock; his mother, Joan Bromley of Las Vegas; one brother, Thomas J. Bromley of New Mexico and one sister, Becky Samm of Tennessee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Michael was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Bromley; one sister, Carol; and his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Upon Michael’s request, no services will be held.
