Pinehurst closes stretch of Silver Valley Road

PINEHURST – The Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office has received word from the City of Pinehurst street supervisor that they are closing down the dike road (Silver Valley Road) that runs east to west between Division St. and Main St. in Pinehurst.
The dike road has several pot holes and damage that has been causing problems for vehicles.
The street supervisor stated they will be placing road closed signs up and barricading the roadway.
SCSO asks motorists to use Division St. and Main St. if traveling to or from Kingston.
