KPD Roll Call: Nov. 6-13
•Warrant arrest at KPD. Subject came to turn himself in (and also see if he had a warrant). Warrant out of Washington was confirmed and subject was taken into custody without incident. Booked and charged with being a fugitive from justice. Report completed.
•Assist county with locating missing juvenile 100 block of E. Portland. Subject was taken home by county without incident.
•Mobile patrols of Kellogg and Wardner. Extra patrols and house watches conducted.
•Misdemeanor warrant service at 500 block of N. Division.
•LL request. Refer to other officer.
•Patrolled Kellogg and Wardner.
•Follow up on K Incident. K71 was able to make contact with next of kin.
•Conducted follow-up and worked on case load (Reports).
•Citizen contact at City Hall. Individual wanted to know information regarding a civil issue.
•Assist County with an active NCO violation.
•29 service attempt on 2nd St. Neg contact.
•Patrolled side streets and Alley ways.
•Mobile patrols of Kellogg and Wardner.
•Parking enforcement in Wardner. 1 verbal for parking on Main (they were there and able to move vehicle). 1 Parking ticket issued (they were not there and unable to move).
•Emphasis patrols on Sunnyside of town, including side streets and alleys. Highest speed recorded 19mph on newly paved roads.
•Assist county with active NCO violation in Smelterville (county requested cover unit). Subject was taken into custody without incident.
•Warrant service attempt 600 block of Upper 3rd. Negative contact.
•Warrant service attempt 100 block E. Cameron. Negative contact.
•Landline request. Public assist for general questions about juveniles and emancipation.
•Traffic stop 600 block of McKinley, verbal for headlight. Vehicle pulled over before activation of emergency lights and hung the new headlight out the window...just needs installed. Thumbs up and sent on their way.
•Traffic stop on Jacobs Gulch Way and W Cameron for speeding on Bunker Ave. Cleared verbal.
•Citizen contact on 1 block of N Division. Female subject was walking around closed businesses.
•Made some extra copies of some paperwork for P943.
•Worked on reports.
•Citizen contact with a male at City Hall. Male was requesting extra patrol.
•Citizen contact with another male at City Hall. Male requested help getting into an apartment.
•Took 2 separate vehicle crash reports. One on the 1000 block of McKinley Ave and another one at the intersection of Bunker Ave. & W. Cameron Ave.
•Suspicious person in the 700 block of McKinley. Female walking around acting strange. Made contact with female and she was just out for a walk. Advised to contact us if she needed assistance.
•Report of a runaway juvenile. While gathering information, they were able to locate said juvenile. Unfounded.
•Evidence work. Received evidence back from lab and placed in evidence, updating reports/property to indicate such.
•Motorist Assist. Main and Sierra Nevada in Wardne. Another vehicle arrived at same time and explained original driver was lost and they were there to show them the way. Public assist.
•Traffic stop into the Gondolier parking lot for no turn signal back on Hill St turning onto I90.
•Male subject ended up having a warrant for his arrest. Cleared arrest.
•Traffic stop on 100 block of W Mullan for driving wrong way down alleyway. Cleared verbal.
•Traffic stop on N Division near Cameron Conoco for no turn signal on from S Elm St onto E Portland. Cleared verbal.
•Traffic stop on I90 WB near exit 48 for no rear tail lights. Cleared verbal.
•Mobile patrol of Kellogg and Wardner.
•Dispatched to the 100 block of W. Riverside for an intoxicated male. Searched the area but was unable to locate.
•Responded to the 900 block of S. Division for suspicious circumstances. Reporting party informed me someone has been entering their residence who are not allowed. Reporting party requested extra patrols in the area.
•Conducted a warrant arrest on the 300 block of W. Cameron Ave.
•Conducted another warrant arrest on the 200 block of W. Cameron Ave.
•Handled a landline request regarding drug activity.
•Dispatched to Silver Mountain for a domestic in progress. Suspect ended up battering an older male victim. Arrested female suspect. Cleared arrest.
•Assisted K76 with an intoxicated male wondering around and stumbling near Hill St by the park. Cleared Unable To Locate (UTL).
•Dispatched to Silver Mountain for found property with 37 code in it. Disposed of 37 code items.
•Called to an unwanted subject at Eddie Joes, Provided the individual with a courtesy ride to his home. Cleared public assist.
•Called to an Attempt To Locate (ATL) for an intoxicated male walking in the middle of Hill Street. Looked around the area as well as surrounding areas. Cleared UTL.
•Contacted a suspicious vehicle with Arizona plates, parked and running in the parking lot of the loan building next to Eddie Joes. Male had just driven into work at the Bunker Mine and wanted a dark place to sleep. Cleared Necessary Action Taken (NAT).
•Called about a loud explosion in town. Informed the reporting party that it was the cannon going off at the veteran’s memorial for vets day.
•Responded to a burglary on the 100 block of Railroad. Report was taken. Investigation is on-going.
•Assisted K77 with a burglary on the 100 block of Railroad.
•Extra patrol around the hopper building on bunker behind the Dave Smith lot at Bunker and Hill as well as checking the property by foot throughout the night.
•Traffic stop in the Cameron Conoco parking lot. Cleared verbal.
•Contacted two vehicles at the top of Wardner in the flat spot. Last time I checked no pop machines up there.
•Ran paperwork up to Court.
•Dispatched to Cameron Conoco for animal complaint. Cleared public assist.
•Citizen contact at KPD regarding family property. Cleared public assist.
•Gas line leak on Wildcat Way. I redirected traffic to safe location. Cleared public assist.
•Assist County with a DUI crash at the Smelterville exit. DUI driver ran from the scene. Said DUI driver was found hiding in some grass at the old derby arena and arrested. Cleared assist.
•Patrolled the sunny but very cold streets of Kellogg.
•Extra patrol around the Bunker building.
•Called to the 900 block of South Division for what sounds like someone in her basement, Cleared the basement. Unfounded.
•Suspicious vehicle idling outside an address on Presley Avenue female driver was slumped over the wheel. Didn’t seem intoxicated but was just sleeping, she stated that she didn’t want to wake her mother being that it was 1 a.m.
•Citizen standby at 400 blk Brown.
•LL request regarding property. Cleared public assist.
•Citizen contact at Amy Lynn’s regarding lost wallet. Cleared public assist.
•Harassment report from KMS. Cleared report taken.
•VIN inspection at KPD.
•Civil stand-by 400 block of W. Brown.
•Dispatched to a disturbance on the bus line. Subject having some kind of issues, medical personnel dispatched as well. Once the bus arrived, two passengers were removed by the bus line, 1 went to hospital, the other was eventually setup to stay at the Fairbridge Inn until the next bus stop in the morning. Nothing criminal took place during this portion of the call. Eventually the male that went to the hospital was taken into custody for spitting at EMS personnel.

•Patrolled the cold streets.
•Called to SMC to Assist K73, Battery between EMT and Patient occurred in the ambulance.
•Words from the Chief “I have received several complaints on speeding vehicles on Legion Ave. Request some speed emphasis in that area.”
