KPD Roll Call Nov. 20-27

•Called to the 10 block for an unresponsive male. He was woken up and driven to the hospital by the parents. Cleared other agency assist.

•Contacted by ISP regarding an individual K76 ran with dispatch. Subjects later arrested in Post Falls.

•Called to the 400 block of West Mullan Ave for fraud. Cleared unfounded.

•LL request regarding parking ticket. Cleared public assist.

•Conducted an interview at KPD regarding juvenile case.

•Patrolled Kellogg and Wardner.

•Follow up with Health and Welfare.

•Attempt to Locate (ATL) erratic driver WB 90 from 56. Unable to Locate (UTL).

•Attempt to locate erratic driver WB 90 from 58. Different vehicle description than the prior ATL. UTL.

•Traffic stop Jacob’s Gulch. Verbal for speed.

•Traffic stop Hill and Legion. Verbal for equipment (brake lights not working) and vehicle registration (have not registered after purchase).

•Traffic stop Bunker and Cameron. Verbal for speed.

•Assist K72 with out of control juvenile 300 block of E. Idaho. K72 took one into custody.

•Suspicious person in the area of Dave Smith Motors. Nothing found upon arrival, but when the person was there, car alarms were going off. Checked all lots and searched the area for the subject. UTL.

•Dispatched to 300 block of E Idaho Ave for report of out of control juvenile throwing items around and threatening her with a knife. After investigation, arrested said juvenile for beyond parental control. Cleared arrest.

•Traffic stop on 200 block Main St for speeding and no turn signal. Cleared verbal.

•Reports, reports, reports......

•Dispatched to the 100 block of Station for a report of screams in the area. County assisted me and we did not discover anyone in distress.

•Report of theft 100 block of W. Mission. Interviews conducted, information report taken and completed.

•Evidence paper work.

•Dispatched to 10 block of W Mullan for a dog that’s been continuously barking for 2-3 hours. Did not hear any dogs barking once K72 arrived to the area. Dog must have known he was on his way.

•Finished more reports and went over some old reports for court prep.

•Patrol in downtown and uptown Kellogg.

•Handled a lost and found item turned into City Hall. Owner of the item was located and returned to them.

•Dispatched to a vandalism on the 400 block of W. Mission.

•Assisted Health and Welfare on the 200 block of W. Elder with welfare check on 3 juveniles.

•Fight in progress at Noah’s. Contacted 1 of the parties (victim), others unknown. No injuries and victim did not want to pursue any further, parties separated (prior to arrival) and peace restored.

•ATL Eastbound I-90 from Smelterville, no description given on a vehicle without lights. When the call came out it was reported 5-10 minutes earlier. Unable to locate any vehicles driving without lights.

•Motorist assist at Bunker Ave 800 block in the dirt turnout (knife river location) a vehicle broke down. Spoke with owner that just sold the vehicle. He will be taking it back and is working on getting someone to move it this weekend.

•Parking issue 800 block S. Division, Wardner. Spoke with owner and vehicle moved off Main Street prior to receiving parking ticket.

•Noise complaint Silver Mountain building C. Went to the area and there was no other noise than usual for full house. Public assist.

•Dispatched to Silver Mtn for male and female disturbing the peace. Cleared unfounded.

•SKOL!

•Traffic stop on S Division in front of Panhandle Linen for stop sign violation. Cleared unfounded.

•Traffic stop on McKinley Ave and Galena Ridge for expired registration. Cleared verbal.

•Traffic stop on Mullen and Cedar for no plates. Cleared verbal.

•Traffic stop on Railroad and Lower Third for turn signal violation. Vehicle finally ended up stopping up near Dirty Dog Saloon. Driver appeared to be impaired (by alcohol), conducted some SFST’s which the driver failed and arrested to DUI. Cleared arrest.

•Aaannndd it snowed......a lot...

•Traffic stop on the 48 interchange from I-90 for a vehicle matching the description of a vehicle driving recklessly on Mission Ave. Cleared unfounded.

•Dispatched to Silver Mtn Resort for report of a fire in building C. After some investigation and getting everyone evacuated from the building, it was deemed the smoke in the building more than likely came from someone who had cooked some popcorn or toast for much too long.... Cleared other agency assist. Don’t you just love the smell of burnt popcorn?

•While clearing from Silver Mtn, 1224 advised that he had a male individual run from him at Eddie Joes bar due to him being on probation and drinking at the bar. Searched for said male subject but did not find him at first. As K72 was clearing this call, he spotted the male subject running across Hill St. Located subject and advised 1224 of our location. Cleared other agency assist.

•Traffic stop on McKinley Ave just past Government Gulch Rd for crossing the double yellow divider line. After making contact, found out male subject had 2 Felony warrants. Cleared arrest.

•Mobile patrol of Kellogg & Wardner. Had fun getting around with the snow on the ground.

•Conducted foot patrol on Bunker Ave.

•Citizen contact at Kellogg Middle School. Checked the building and spoke with a teacher who was there on their day off to catch up on some work.

•Handled a vehicle crash on McKinley Ave & S. Division.

•Dispatched to E. Idaho St. for a downed power line. Upon arrival, I discovered it was a communication line. EMT’s handled it while I finished with the vehicle crash.

•Citizen contact on Hill St. and McKinley Ave. Spoke with a juvenile that was playing on the bleacher’s roof of Teeter’s Field. After a long talk with the Juvenile, I convinced him that playing on a roof was bad for his health. Explained there was a reason the access point was locked up. Gave a verbal warning.

•Dispatched to Silver Mt. on Bunker Ave. for an unwanted subject. Established contact with the male and trespassed him at Silver Mt.’s request.

•Assisted County with a traffic stop that lead to a DUI on Interstate 90 M.P. 47.

•Worked on reports.

•Great night at the gun range.

•ATL for white Chevy blazer, male driving was said to be intoxicated, K76 and 1226 were unable to locate the vehicle.

•Gormandized a donut or two.

•Assisted County with BOLO for a 95 Nissan pathfinder maroon in color that was taken without permission. Vehicle was later returned.

•Traffic stop on N. Division for stop sign violation. Cleared verbal.

•Attempted to locate a female that was possibly involved in a domestic, was unable to locate given the info K76 had.

•The Monday-est Tuesday EVER.

•Patrolled the rainy streets of Kellogg and Wardner.

•Verbal for parking in a no parking zone on Bunker Ave.

•Emails, follow-ups (investigations and active cases).

•Traffic stop at Hill/Elder. Verbal warning for lights after dark (no tail lights), vehicle registration, notify change of address.

•Extra patrols, Mission, Legion.

•Citizen contact with a male on a bicycle in the Fairbridge parking lot. male was waiting for a friend, and he wasn’t kidding, a friend actually came. Cleared Necessary Action Taken (NAT).
