Clara “Boots” Pine, 67

Clara “Boots” Pine fell into eternal sleep surrounded by family on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 in Post Falls, Idaho. Clara was born in Sacramento, California to James and Clara Berryman (Frank). She spent her younger years in Sacramento where she married the love of her life, Vernon S. Pine Jr. Together they moved to Burke, Idaho where they spent most of their 45 years of marriage.

In addition to being a loving mother to her children, Boots held many jobs including C.N.A, artist, maid and manager of the Oasis until it closed Head Start teacher and bus driver, manager of Up the Creek Saloon, manager of the Elks in Wallace, and telecommunications at Dakota Direct. In her free time she enjoyed camping with family, painting, and making cakes for weddings. She had a big heart and was always willing to take in or help anyone out that was in need.

Boots is survived by her husband of 45 years, Vernon Pine Jr of Burke, Idaho; sons, Bill (Carrie) Pine of Vermont, Johnny (Ken Rustin) Pine of Richmond, Virginia; Sheldon (Jamie) Pine of Post Falls, Idaho, and Justin Pine of Coeur d’Alene; 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, October 8 at 5:00 p.m. at 1976 Dipper Loop, Post Falls, Idaho. Memorial donations in memory of Boots can be made to Hospice of North Idaho, 2290 W.
