Patricia “Patti”, “Mom”, “Bee Bee”, Louise Edwards, 71

Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and teacher, Patricia “Patti”, “Mom”, “Bee Bee”, Louise Edwards, 71, of Osburn, Idaho, passed away October 9, 2018, at Kootenai Health of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho; she bravely and courageously fought cancer four times. Patti was born on April 18, 1947 in Portland, Oregon; she was the daughter of Dewey and Helen Madison.

Patti attended schools and graduated from high school in Portland, Oregon. She furthered her education through Lewis-Clark State College, the University of Idaho and North Idaho College receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in education.

Patti served as a special education teacher for the Kellogg School District for many years.

Patti loved and enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, thrift store shopping, garage sales and crafts.

Patti raised a very close family and had expressed her wishes for them to remain close after she passed. She also so loved her students and children. Patti touched so many lives and will be truly missed.

Patti is survived by her beloved family- two children Stephanie “Stevie” and Steve Ivie of Pinehurst, Idaho, Brandie “Bear” and Amber Edwards of Osburn, Idaho; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; three sisters Lynna Mae, Marlene and Darlene; she is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Patti was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.

A Private Celebration of Patti’s Life will be held.
