Gary Wayne Hopper, 66

Gary was born August 24,1952 in Butte, Montana to Henry and Torene Hopper. He passed away October 7, 2018 at Hospice House in Coeur d’Alene.

He graduated from Wallace High School in 1971. He spent most of his life as a diamond driller and worked in many states, then went to work at Galena Mine for about twenty years where he enjoyed his job and the men he worked with.

He is survived by three children Kelly, Tara, Theresa and one sister Shirley Messerly of Osburn. There were numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren and the children he helped raised. There was also his companion Dee and her daughter Brenda Thank you very much Brenda for taking care of him.

He was also preceded in death by his mom, dad, and sister.

Bell Tower of Post Falls was in charge of cremation.

There will be a celebration of life at Midway Bar in Osburn on Sunday October 28, 2018 between two and three o’clock. Service will be next summer.
