COEUR d’ALENE – The Idaho Panhandle National Forests has rescinded the roads, trails and area closure for the Surprise Creek Fire on the Coeur d’Alene River Ranger District.
Although the area is now open to the public, there are always potential hazards in burned areas and visitors are advised to be very careful. Repair work associated with fire suppression activities will be occurring in upcoming months, weather permitting.
Visitors travelling on Bunco Road #332 and Spruce Ridge Road #205 are reminded that heavy equipment maybe encountered as repair activities occur and delays should be expected.
