WILLIAM FRANK MELLEN, 56
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, Love leaves a memory no one can steal…
William was born on October 2, 1961 in Wallace, Idaho, He served in the United States Army, was a volunteer firefighter and board member of the West End Volunteer Fire Dept. A member of the Montana Tow Truck Association. And had numerous different training certificates. He began his first towing company, West End Towing and Recovery in May 1999. Towing wasn’t just his job or a way to make a living. It was his passion. He loved the challenge and the thrill of it. He was a very smart and ambitious man. The sky had no limit and the only direction he knew to go was up.
He was a great family man, a loving father and an amazing provider. Not only for the family in his home but also for many others. He treasured his family and employees also. He enjoyed getting to play pool with his son, spending time with the grandkids, learning history, hunting, fishing, camping, boating, jeepin’, snowmobiling, riding horses, ATV’s and all his many, many different toys.
