MULLAN – A Mullan man was shot in the face Monday night as the result of domestic dispute with an unnamed female.

The Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office reports that on April 1 at 10:17 p.m., deputies responded to a call in Mullan of a domestic in progress where the sounds of gunshots could be heard.

While on route, dispatch advised the responding units that the male involved in the incident had been shot.

Once on-scene, deputies rendered aid to the involved male, Terry Glen Ullom, 50, of Mullan, who had suffered a gunshot wound to the face.

Ullom was then transferred to a medical facility for treatment by personnel from Shoshone County Fire District No. 1. The other involved party, a 60-year old female of Mullan, was also treated and transported to a medical facility for injuries sustained during the physical altercation.

Terry Ullom is expected to recover from his gunshot wound.

SCSO Undersheriff Holly Lindsey stated in a news release that no arrests have been made at this time as the investigation is in its preliminary stages and is ongoing.

“More information will be released as the investigation progresses,” she added.

The name of the female involved is not being released at this time and she was the only one who fired a weapon throughout the course of the incident.
