KPD Roll Call: March 26-April 2

•Assisted county with a vehicle that was left behind by the Cedar Mill burglars.

•Land line request about a bill that the RP states did not order the product that came with the bill. Cleared assist.

•Land line request about a vehicle and if they could report it stolen or not. Cleared assist.

•School Patrol.

•Wardner Patrol.

•Kellogg Patrol.

•Worked on NIBRS reporting.

•Handled multiple landline requests regarding child custody issues.

•Dispatched to the 100 block of W. Mullan Ave. for an out of control juvenile. Peace was later restored.

•Worked on reports and follow-up.

•Assisted County with a burglary in progress in Pinehurst, located subject still on scene hiding under a truck. Cleared, other agency assist.

•Called to a traffic/noise complaint 400 block Bunker Ave. for a truck driving by and revving, was unable to locate the vehicle. Cleared Unable To Locate (UTL).

•Unlocked vehicles entered at the Silver Mt Parking Lot. Some items taken also some items recovered. Cleared report taken.

•Took a written statement for a reported theft at the 200 block of Cameron Ave.

•Received a walk-in to the PD requesting advice regarding child custody issues.

•Patrolled Kellogg & Wardner.

•Responded for a possible disturbance at the 400 block of Railroad Ave. Cleared for time being. Will make contact with other party.

•Responded to the 200 block of Cameron Ave. for a report of harassment. Peace was restored. Hmm at the Trail again? Peace restored only temporary I’m sure.

•Extra patrol through the Silver Mountain parking lot.

•Citizen contact with suspicious female in the Hill Street Conoco parking lot. Cleared NAT.

•Attempted a citizen contact, however the male had choice words for K76 and didn’t want to talk. Cleared.

•Received a report of an abandoned trailer at the 300 block of Mission Ave. The trailer came back stolen with dispatch and was towed to be returned to owner. Report taken for recovery. Probie recovered his first stolen vehicle.

•Patrolled Kellogg & Wardner.

•Met with Forest Service Law Enforcement to provide info on a local with warrants.

•Issued a trespassing citation at the 100 block of E. Market. The defendant, an adult male, was inside of a foreclosed home “checking it out to rent it or clean it up for an investment business.” Yeah sure he was...

•Attempt to locate stolen vehicle out of Kingston. Vehicle was located by County in Kingston. Canceled.

•Attempt to locate persons on the interstate in the median. Unable to locate.

•Assist County with crash between Pinehurst & Smelterville. Unable to locate and canceled.

•VIN inspection 600 block Main Wardner.

•Threats report at Kellogg Middle School. After gathering information, threats did not occur or involve the middle school. All subjects live in the county. Referred to other agency.

•Suspicious person kicked off the Jefferson Lines bus walking around Emerald sub-division and back towards Silver Mountain. Contacted subject and got a confirmation on warrant out of Idaho Falls. Arrest turned over to K76 due to end of K72’S shift.

•Warrant arrest at Silver Mountain.

•Extra patrol areas.

•Assisted County with 911 open line/ Physical Domestic up terror gulch. Cleared other agency assist.

•Commercial burglary alarm at Les Schwab Tire Center. Employees activated the alarm accidentally. Cleared false alarm.

•Follow-up on the disturbance at the 400 block of Railroad Ave. The subject was warned. Cleared NAT.

•Responded to a report of people riding dirt bikes on the Galena Ridge Golf Course. Unable to see any sign of motorcycles traveling on the golf course. Unfounded.

•Responded to Silver Mtn. Water-park for a reported fight in progress. One subject was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting police. In regards to the fight, no one wanted to pursue criminal charges. Probie got his first some people really don’t like police call.

•Traffic stop at station and south division with vehicle with no plates. Verbal.

•Traffic stop in the Cameron Conoco with vehicle with headlight out. Verbal.

•Reports.

•Citizen contact in the Hill Street Conoco with vehicle sitting there. Cleared Necessary Action Taken (NAT).

•Citizen contact with people at the city park, advised them it was closed and they moved on. Cleared.

•Attempt To Locate (ATL) for a welfare check for a male who was last seen in Kellogg, made contact with McDonald’s before they opened and they are calling him today for scheduling as he was just hired. Cleared UTL.

•Tagged a vehicle for removal at dark at the 3400 block of McKinley Ave. The vehicle was removed later in the day.

•Report work.

•Patrolled Kellogg & Wardner.

•Responded to a burglary alarm at Les Schwab Tire Center. It was activated by an employee. Cleared false alarm.

•Received a report of a vehicle with no plates at McDonald’s. Cleared UTL.

•Responded to a domestic in progress on Emerson Lane. One male was taken into custody for attempted strangulation.

•Handled numerous landline requests regarding child custody and civil issues.

•Citizen contact at KPD. Individual wanted to notify me of neglect in the home. Health and Welfare was notified.

•Pick up a dog on the 400 block of Railroad Ave. Dog was taken to the pound.

•Assisted county with a transient problem in Wallace.

•Dispatched to 800 block of McKinley Ave. for a possible break-in. After looking into the matter, K77 discovered it to be unfounded.

•Citizen contact at KPD. Individual wanted to report custodial interference. Conducted an investigation and a report was taken.

•K75 assisted K77 on the 400 block of Bunker Ave. for a report of drug usage.

•Stationary patrol on reported speeding areas throughout the city.

•K75 assisted K77 with child custodial issues. Cleared other agency assist.

•Citizen contact Station and Elm, just a pedestrian... playing Pokemon... yeah that’s still a thing.

•Suspicious circumstances E. Idaho and Thorn. Vehicle door wide open, contacted owner and children were to blame. Quick look through of the car and nothing to report stolen. Cleared public assist.

•Report of drug use at 411 Bunker. Did a walk-through of the building, cleared NAT.

•Foot patrol on Bunker Ave., Wildcat Way, Main St., McKinley Ave, Railroad Ave., W. Idaho Ave. and Legion Ave.

•Report of attempted theft of gasoline on the 600 block of Main Wardner. Reporting party requested extra patrols.

•Welfare Check on the 200 block of W. Cameron Ave. Individual turned out to A OK.

•911 hangup on the 300 block of S. Division. Turns out the reporting party accidentally call 911 on a deactivated cell phone.
