KPD Roll Call: April 9-16

•Mobile patrol of Kellogg & Wardner.

•V.I.N. inspection on the 300 Block of Riverside.

•K77 attended City Council Meeting in Wardner. Wonder if they miss K73.

•Dispatched to 3 Dogs running at large near Galena Ridge. After multiple attempts, K77 was able to round them up and returned them home.

•Worked on reports and conducted follow-up interviews.

•Contacted a vehicle at the top of Wardner in the dirt flat spot. Cleared, Necessary Action Taken (NAT).

•School patrol, doo doo doo doo.

•911 hang up on Elder.

•Follow up on blight issue on Mission Ave. Looks better but more work needs done before it is compliant.

•Delivered paperwork to courts/prosecutor.

•911 hang-up 100 block of W. Elder. No answer at residence, per neighbors, they are at work during the day time. The number comes back to cell phone only with no name. Unfounded.

•Traffic stop Jacobs Gulch/W. Cameron. VCerbal for speed and seatbelt.

•Vehicle collision, 100 block of E. Mullan Ave. in the alley. Vehicle backed into parked vehicle. State vehicle involved, report taken and citation issued for no proof of insurance.

•Fire alarm at Silver Mountain. Accidental pull of alarm in C Building, fire department reset alarm. Other agency assist.

•Foot patrol on Wildcat Way, doo doo doo doo.

•Traffic stop at E Portland and S Division with 1223. Verbal given.

•Reports and E-Impact report(s).

•Extra patrols on Hill St. due to reports of speeders in the area.

•VIN Inspection at KPD, doo doo doo doo.

•Civil stand-by at Trail Motel.

•Traffic stop, verbal for speeding Division/Upper 3rd.

•Juvenile issue at Kellogg Middle School.

•Attempt to locate erratic driver EB I90, out of position.

•Possible DUI in the parking lot of McDonald’s, this stemmed from a citizen contact/report to a deputy in Smelterville. Contacted person that drove there, no indication of DUI, verbal warning for DWP (Infraction) and county handled their portion.

•Assisted county on traffic stop for possible 8004. Cleared other agency assist.

•Traffic stop Hill and Bunker, citation for speed 300 block of McKinley.

•Fire reported up Italian Gulch, unable to see anything, possibly controlled burn.

•Fire reported Theater Road on the hillside north, controlled burn.

•Landline request regarding questions. Questions regarding civil matters, referred to civil court (which they stated they were already in the process).

•Welfare check 100 block of W. Idaho. Subject was okay, wanting to report grease or some type of substance left on vehicle windows. Extra patrol requested.

•Traffic stop on Hill St. for stop sign, verbal.

•Park patrol. doo doo doo doo.

•Traffic stop in 400 block Cameron for no plates. Verbal.

•Traffic stop on Cameron Ave. for a headlight out. Verbal.

•Called to Yokes for a juvenile who called 911. Cleared NAT.

•Assisted K72 on a traffic stop.

•Called to the 300 block of Cameron Ave. for a trespassing complaint. Cleared NAT.

•Citizen contact with male walking with large speaker through IGA parking lot. Cleared NAT.

•Responded to a suspicious circumstance at the 000 block of W. Mill. Cleared NAT.

•Traffic stop at the 1000 block of McKinley Ave. Cleared verbal for headlight out.

•Traffic stop at the 1000 block of McKinley Ave. Cleared verbal for expired registration.

•Responded for a civil standby request at the 200 block of W. Cameron Ave. Cleared NAT.

•Contacted two intoxicated individuals lost on McKinley Ave. One of which may have had a little TOO much and was rolling around in a puddle, not sure why but he seemed to be enjoying himself. The individuals were given a ride back to their room. Cleared, public assist

•Assisted County on a DUI arrest in Smelterville. Cleared, other agency assist.

•Traffic stop at the 200 block of N. Hill. Cleared verbal for driving without headlights on.

•Extra patrols conducted in requested areas.

•Suspicious person/activity 400 block of Railroad. Possible drug use/person under the influence. Subject was not under the influence but did have questions about transportation. Public assist.

•Dispatched to suspicious activity at the Cameron Conoco. After speaking with reporting party, K74 was unable to determine if a crime had been or was being committed. Cleared the call unfounded.

•Worked on follow-up interviews and reports for my cases.

•Assisted K72 with a domestic on the 600 block of W. Park.

•Responded to a possible break-in on the 600 block of Upper 3rd. After looking into the matter, discovered the tenant had the right to be there. Call was cleared no action taken.

•Assisted K75 & K72 with a walk-in complaint at the PD regarding Custodial interference.

•Responded to a reported battery at the 600 block of W. Park Ave. The victim did not want to press charges, and the parties were separated. Cleared, peace restored.

•Responded to a report of suspicious individuals inside a home that should be unoccupied at the 600 block of Upper Third St. After investigation, the individuals were allowed to be there. Cleared, unfounded.

•Civil standby at the 900 block of W. Park. Cleared, public assist.

•Provided a courtesy transport for an individual from Shoshone Medical Center back to their home. Cleared, public assist.

•Attempt to locate a reported person driving under the influence. Cleared, Unable To Locate (UTL).

•Assisted County with a DUI arrest near the Sunshine Miner’s Memorial on Silver Valley Rd. Cleared, other agency assist.

•Responded to a reported suspicious person at the Cameron Conoco. The individual was quite intoxicated and couldn’t decide which drink to buy for approximately 45 minutes. The individual was encouraged to be on their way. Cleared, NAT.

•Tagged a vehicle in the church parking lot on the 200 block of Mission.

•Dispatched to a fight in progress at the park off of W. Mission Ave. Arrived on scene and observed approximately 20 juveniles at the park. A good handful took off running and driving away in their vehicles. Looking into the matter K77 discovered it was only two kids involved in the fight and the rest showed up to spectate. The two juveniles were turned over to their parents.

•Took in 2 German Shepard’s into the pound. Dogs were picked up by County near Kingston area.

•Assisted K72 & K75 with a DUI in the McDonald’s parking lot.

•Assisted County with a traffic stop on the 400 block of Bunker Ave.

•Worked on reports.

•Patrolled in the sun, patrolled in the rain, patrolled in the hail. All in 5 minutes.

•Walked the city park, doo doo doo doo.

•Checked on tagged vehicles. Up for tow 04-17.

•Impact report from last week.

•Attempted to serve civil papers on the 600 block of Upper 3rd St. Negative contact. Nope not at the house some people would like to see papers served on, unfortunately.
