KPD Roll Call: July 23-30

•Dispatched to the 300 block of Cedar for individuals soliciting...Yeah not the sell your a TV kind of soliciting, if you know what I mean. K76 and K77 made contact with three females and 1 male but they were unable to observe these reported activities. Suggested it was best for them to leave town, which they did.

•Assist H&W with reported abuse. Cleared unfounded/ other agency assist.

•Called to Silver Mt. for possible domestic. Cleared parties separated peace restored.

•Took dog into pound from county.

•Blights.

•LL request regarding traffic collision from last week. Cleared Necessary Action Taken (NAT).

•Located animal running at large 200 block of W. Mission. Unable to catch the dog.

•Threats at 300 block W. Mullan Ave. Issue happening electronically and no threats being made, possible stalking. Advised a course of action (blocking) if it continues, would look into stalking. Also asked about civil stand-by (County). Advised to contact Sheriff’s Office if stand-by is needed. Cleared public assist.

•Disturbance 600 block Bunker Ave. (Silver Mountain). Son vs mother, nothing physical. Parties separated and son transported to hotel in Wallace to separate the parties. Peace Restored.

•Citizen contact x3 W. Cameron/Short St. Juveniles out past curfew, parents contacted and they came and retrieved (not from Kellogg). Verbal warning x 3 for curfew.

•Agency assist 5th and Bank in Wallace for the sound of glass breaking/possible burglary of a business in progress. Unfounded/agency assist.

•Checked on tagged vehicles. E Market vehicle have moved.

•Stationary radar on E Cameron Ave. One traffic stop for speed.

•NIBRS training at PPD.

•While K73 was in route to training at PPD, a vehicle passed him at about 95+mph. K73 was able to catch up to the speeding Ford Escort Wagon. Yes, I know what your thinking, there is no way a Ford Escort Wagon can go that fast. That’s what K73 thought as well before he saw it fly by him. Speed racer was issued a citation for speed.

•Tagged vehicles on E Portland removed.

•Dog complaint on Riverside. Was unable to locate said Dog.

•Evidence back from lab. Moved to evidence room.

•Stationary patrol Cameron Ave. on the new Pavement.

•Abandoned paper work.

•Kellogg and Wardner patrol.

•City park foot patrol.

•Reports approvals.

•Side street and alleyway patrol.

•Radar patrol on E Cameron and Bunker Ave.

•Released dog from pound. SCSO dog.

•Assisted the firemen with a person stuck in an elevator. None of the controls to bring the elevator back down would work, it was frozen just like an IPhone. After talking about all the ways to get him out (you know the firemen always leans towards using an ax first), it was decided to turn the power off then back on first. Just like an IPhone, it started working again. Cleared assist.

•Mobile patrols of Kellogg and Wardner.

•Welfare check 300 block of W. Portland. Report of a female lying face down on the hill. Turns out she was on her porch on a couch and only taking a nap in the nice weather.

•Traffic stop 300 block E. Cameron, verbal for speed.

•Traffic stop 600 block Bunker. Turns out dispatch read the return wrong and the license plates on the vehicle were supposed to be on the vehicle.

•Fire alarm at Guesthouse Inn. Assisted fire, this was not a false alarm, but someone left their popcorn in the microwave too long. Only thing damaged was the bag of popcorn.

•Motorist assist at McDonald’s parking lot. Vehicle would not start and was left in the parking lot overnight with permission.

•Found property turned in to KPD from ISP. Someone flagged down the Troopers and turned over a soft backpack, looks like items from the basketball tournament.

•Report of theft 400 block W. Mission. Report taken for lost/missing property, nothing indicating a theft at this time.

•Unwanted subject 200 block W. Cameron. Subject taken into custody for Detox Hold only. Infraction citation issued for Trespassing as well. Report taken.

•While at the jail, assisted county with possible burglary of a business in Wallace. Unfounded as this was employees entering the business.

•Placed a dog in the pound that was recovered by pet rescue.

•Conducted a traffic stop on Station Ave. & S. Division. Cleared with a verbal warning.

•Issued a parking citation on the 10 block of S. Division St.

•Foot patrol at Silver Hoops.

•Citizen contact 400 block E. Cameron. Information given on incident closer to the park (someone wanted to use the parking lot as a bathroom rather than usual restrooms). Subject(s) were no longer in the area, but they wanted us aware.

•Traffic stop Division/W. Cameron. Verbal for lane usage.

•Business alarm 400 block W. Cameron, building checked and confirmed secured. Made contact with responsible.

•K73 really should wear shorts before he works Silver Hoops. He went from fish belly white to salmon pink.

•Traffic stop 600 block Bunker, verbal for studded tires (they were already parked and after inspection of the tires a majority of them had been pulled - they will pull the rest out).

•Tagged a vehicle 100 block E. Portland for 48-hour removal. Vehicle is at 115 E. Portland in front of #4, expired registration and a complaint from a resident.

•Called to Silver Mountain for Welfare check. Cleared Unable to Locate (UTL).

•Called to Trail Motel for citizen contract. Cleared public assist.

•Dispatched to the 300 block of E. Idaho for a battery. After conducting an investigation, the victim in the incident did not wish to pursue criminal charges. Parties were separated and peace was restored.

•Called to 100 block W Mission Ave for fight in progress. Cleared parties separated peace restored.

•LL request regarding threats. Cleared public assist.

•Responded to the 300 block of E. Idaho for a disturbance. Discovered no crime was committed and peace was later restored after speaking with both parties.

•Traffic stop on Bunker Ave next to the bridge-verbal for headlight out.

•Landline request regarding social security questions.

•Assisted K77 with a disturbance.

•Assisted K76 with a traffic stop on the 800 block of Bunker Ave.

•Observed a disturbance on the 10 block of E. Market. Made contact with both parties and peace was restored.

•Responded to 800 Block of Main St. Wardner for suspicious activity. Checked the area but was unable to locate.

•Stationary radar Bunker Ave. and Cameron Ave.

•Abandoned paper work.

•Moving evidence from lab to evidence room.

•VIN inspection Trail Motel.
