- Wallace City Pool 80th birthday party from noon to 2 p.m. at the City Pool, 604 Hotel St., Wallace. Friends of the Wallace City Pool will be selling shirts, buttons, koozies, and more to raise funds to get the pool open again. There will also be games, historic photos of the pool on display, members of Wallace City Council available to inform you about the progress of the renovation of the pool and birthday cupcakes.

- Touch-a-Truck event from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Pinehurst library. Kids are invited to see their favorite trucks and local heroes up close. Ambulances, fire trucks, garbage trucks and other big rigs are just waiting to say hello. All ages are welcome, but geared to 3-10 years.
