Thompson and Moon Pass closed for season

WALLACE – Shoshone County Public Works Director Jim Cason has announced that Thompson Pass and Moon Pass are now closed for the winter season.

Shoshone County does not perform winter maintenance or plowing on Thompson or Moon Pass.

Cason appreciates everyone’s cooperation by not attempting to utilize Thompson or Moon Pass during the winter months, as the high snow level accumulations will make these roadways impassable.
