Kellogg Police Department shot of the week.
- Dispatched to an overdue juvenile on the 500 block of Main Street. Juvenile was later located after reporting party returned home.
- Traffic stop on Oregon Street and west Cameron Avenue. Vehicle was towed for no plates, no insurance and the driver did not have a valid D.L. We call that the Hat Trick.
- Property damage crash 400 block. Cleared, report taken and misdemeanor cite and release for inattentive and infraction citation for invalid license.
- Report of 8004 driver parked 300 block Cameron Avenue. Located vehicle, no driver to be found. Cleared, unfounded.
- Called to Yoke’s for theft of purse. Cleared, public assist.
- LL request regarding purse from Yoke’s. Cleared, negative contact.
- Attempted to locate a runaway juvenile who may have been in the area, but did not locate them.
- Verbal dispute on the 600 block of Bunker Avenue. (Homeboy on a balcony decided to throw poop diapers at occupants of the hot tub below because they were too loud. Not even joking. Occupants of the hot tub were on their way up to the second floor to “return” the diaper when K77 and K72 showed up.) Parties were separated upon making contact. Peace was restored.
- Traffic stop at Riverside Avenue and Oregon Street. Cleared, verbal warning for incomplete stop.
- Traffic stop at Hill Street and Legion Avenue. Cleared, verbal warning for incomplete stop.
- Traffic stop at the 500 block of Bunker Avenue. Cleared, verbal warning for incomplete stop.
- Motorist assist at west Cameron Avenue and Utah Street. Cleared, public assist.
- Dispatched to a report of a disturbance at the 600 block of Bunker Avenue. Parties were separated and peace was restored. Cleared, NAT.
- Traffic stop at Riverside Avenue and Oregon Street. Cleared, verbal warning for incomplete stop.
- Assisted Fire at a report of smoke coming from an individual’s vents at the 100 block of east Portland Avenue.
- Motorist assist at the 10 block of south Hill Street. Courtesy transport was provided to the 300 block of east Idaho Street in Kellogg. Cleared, public assist.
- Requested to assist a County Deputy as a cover unit with a suspicious person carrying a flaming bottle and a stick in Smelterville. Cleared, other agency assist.
- Dispatched to a suspicious circumstance at the 700 block of Bunker Avenue. Discovered that a civil standby was requested by Silver Mountain staff to maintain facilities with an upset tenant. Cleared, public assist.
- Domestic 100 block west Mullan, this was NOT a domestic but family issue requesting medical evaluation/assessment, subject went willingly.
- Public assist, courtesy transport from Shoshone Medical Center to a residence in Kellogg. Family was already on-scene.
- Patrolled in the snow.
- What Football Game? I have no knowledge of a football game Monday night.
- Called to the Gondolier for a fake 20. Cleared, report taken.
- Citizen contact at the 100 block of street Hill Street. Cleared, citation Issued for driving with an invalid license.
- Traffic stop at the I-90 milepost 49 westbound on-ramp. Cleared, verbal warning for multiple violations.
- Traffic stop at the I-90 milepost 50 westbound on-ramp. Cleared, citation issued for failure to provide insurance.
- Suspicious vehicle parked behind a closed business at the 700 block of west Cameron Avenue. Buildings were checked and secure. Cleared, unfounded.
- Parking complaint in the Hill Street Italian Gulch area, upon arrival this turned into a report of a hit and run (separate from the parking complaint). Report taken.
- Call-in report of lost property, report taken for documentation and report number given to owner of said property.
- Welfare check requested on 10 block east Mission, subject was located and information related.
- County assist with items on the freeway. Items removed.
- Called to Bunker apartments for a civil issue. Cleared, civil.
- Landline request Beryl Street over child custody.
- Noise complaint, vehicle revving engine. Found owner of vehicle they said they would stop.
- Attempted paper service. Cleared, negative contact.
- Called to Shoshone Medical Center for possible threats. A person upset about their medical bill. Yeah, I think we all have been there. Cleared, unfounded.
- LL request regarding property issues. Cleared, civil.
- Attempted paper service at the 200 block of Flume Avenue. Cleared, negative contact.
- Traffic stop at the I-90 milepost 50 westbound on-ramp (violation occurred in the city). Cleared, verbal warning for equipment.
- Assisted K75 with a report of an individual threatening to do harm to another. Cleared, agency assist.
- Traffic stop at the 100 block of east Cameron Avenue. Cleared, verbal warning for incomplete stop.
- Traffic stop at the I-90 milepost 50 westbound on-ramp (violation occurred in the city). Cleared, verbal warning for incomplete stop and failure to signal.
- Suspicious person prowling a closed business at the 700 block of west Cameron Avenue. Cleared, NAT.
- Suspicious vehicle at the intersection of Main Street and west Idaho Avenue. Cleared, unfounded.
- Prescription drug turn-in at Kellogg Police Department. Receipt given for items to be taken to Sheriff’s Office for drug turn-in program.
- School patrol.
