Pamela Jean Burmeister, 70

Beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend, Pamela Jean Burmeister, 70, of Kellogg, Idaho, passed away December 11, 2019 at Schneidmiller Hospice House of Coeur d’Alene. She was born March 2, 1949 in Evanston, Wyoming; Pamela was the daughter of Herman Hunter and Bernice Holmes.

Pamela attended and graduated from Evanston High School, class of 1967.

Pamela moved to Jackson Hole, Wyoming where she met Mark Burmeister and on March 10th 1973, Pamela and Mark were united in marriage in Evanston. Later that year they moved to Alaska where they raised two children. After spending time traveling back and forth from Alaska to Idaho, Pamela and Mark moved to the Silver Valley in 2007.

Pamela had a love for the outdoors, friends and her beloved pets Sadie and Precious. She also loved to cook and entertain, but most of all she enjoyed time spent with her family.

Pamela was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma cancer in 2012, which she fought courageously for 7 years.

Pamela is survived by her husband of 46 years Mark Burmeister; her two sons Matt Burmeister and Mike Burmeister; her sister Cindy Friend and several nieces and nephews. Pamela was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings Danny Hunter, Terry Spencer, Bradley Spencer and her infant brother.

Cremation will take place and no services will be held at this time.
