“Sprucin' up Pinehurst” is here!

| February 11, 2019 4:00 PM

Another year of “Sprucin’ Up Pinehurst” is here.

Hanging baskets were ordered last October for this summer 2019. The Pinehurst/Kingston Lions Club have again volunteered to help us raise funds to help support our cause.

They will host a breakfast for the flowers on Saturday, February 16 from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Lions Club building, 106 Church Street in Pinehurst. Come out and enjoy a hearty breakfast and help us make our City look great again this year and support our efforts.

We are raffling off a hanging basket again this year. You can purchase tickets anytime at City Hall or at the breakfast on Saturday. You need not be present to win. The baskets will be delivered around the first part of May, weather permitting. The winner will be notified by phone.

Come out and support us on Saturday and enjoy breakfast and visit with friends, neighbors and family. The breakfast consists of biscuits and sausage gravy with scrambled eggs or link sausage with pancakes or French toast and eggs or an omelet with ham, onion, cheese, green peppers and salsa, served with French toast or pancakes.

We appreciate the Pinehurst/Kingston Lions Club for all their efforts in supporting us and the area and always giving back to the community in so many ways. Thank you in advance to our Great Little City and its residents who are so willing to help us always and ever. Your support is truly appreciated.

If anyone would like to help in any way contact Nancie Burkhart at 208-682-4027 or Pinehurst City Hall at 208-682-3721. You may also donate to the flower fund anytime at City Hall.
