Jerry “Bobby” Robert Lamere, 71

Jerry “Bobby” Robert Lamere, 71, of Spokane, Washington, passed away December 30, 2018 at the Providence Holy Family Hospital of Spokane. He was born August 13, 1947 in Great Falls, Montana; Bobby was the son of Michael and Lena (Courchane) Lamere.

Bobby had attended schools in Great Falls, Montana. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam war.

Bobby married Joy Henry on August 25, 1973 in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. Joy and Bobby moved to the Silver Valley in 1973 and lived here for nine years; finally settling in Spokane.

Bobby had first worked at the Bunker Hill Mining Company as a maintenance mechanic, until the mine’s closure. He had lastly served as a casino poker dealer for Northern Quest Casino of Airway Heights for eighteen years.

Bobby loved and enjoyed his family, playing cards and poker; he loved to gamble.

Bobby is survived by his beloved wife of forty-five years Joy Lamere of the family home of Spokane; two sons Samuel Lamere and his companion Kassandra Reamer of Spokane, Washington, Jerry Lamere, Jr. of Spokane; one granddaughter Jazmin Lamere and one grandson Jeremiah, soon to be born; his step-mother Betty Lamere of Great Falls, Montana; half-brother Richie Lamere of Great Falls, two step-brothers Ron Crowder of Great Falls, Montana and Randy Crowder of Tennessee; one step-sister Tina Crowder of Great Falls, Montana. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Bobby was preceded in death by his father, his mother and three brothers.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019, at 11:00 A.M. at the St. Rita’s Catholic Church of Kellogg with Father Jerome Montez officiating. Interment will be held at the Greenwood Cemetery of Kellogg.

The family suggests that memorials may be made to the Shoshone Food Bank, 311 Main Street, Kellogg, Idaho 83837.
