KPD Roll Call: Jan. 15-22

•Lots of mobile patrol on the snowy streets of Kellogg & Wardner.

•Called to the 900 block of Cameron Avenue for a disturbance. Cleared parties separated, peace restored.

•Landline request regarding questions about child custody. Public assist.

•Called to Silver Mountain for a parking complaint. Citation issued.

•Traffic stop on Main stop for no brake lights. Cleared verbal.

•Mobile patrol of the slush filled streets of Kellogg & Wardner.

•Attempt To Locate (ATL) for female who slide off the road and didn’t know where she was. She called 911 and stated that we needed to use the government “lasers” to find her, then hung up and would not answer her phone again. Female was located by pinging her phone location. Not really “lasers” but close.

•Vin inspection x3.

•Called to the 100 block of Elder reference threats, was unable to contact one of the individuals involved to speak with them. After speaking with RP, cleared public assist.

•Assisted County in Smelterville with a suspicious person’s call. Dispatch told us a male was marching up and down the streets with a hockey stick that had a knife tapped to the end of it. Maybe the local neighborhood watch? After looking around, we were unable to find the individual.

•Dispatched to Mill Street & Main Street for an attempted break-in of a vehicle. Owner of the vehicle caught the individual in the act and the suspect took off running. Searched the area but was unable to find the guy. Nothing was damaged or missing from the vehicle according to the reporting party.

•Welfare check for a female on the 10 block of N. Division Street. Made contact with female hitchhiker getting some rest near the interstate. Female was OK and was well prepared for the cold weather.

•Citizen contact with 2 of 3 individuals on the 900 block of Bunker Avenue. Spoke with the two of individuals to find out why the 3rd one decided to run as fast as he could away from me as soon as K77 drove by. Found out it was a juvenile not wanting to get a curfew ticket. Told the two to find their friend and take him home.

•Assisted EMT’s on the 400 block of Bunker Avenue for an individual unconscious, lying on the ground outside an apartment. Individual was awake upon our arrival and was transported to SMC.

•Called to the 100 block West Mill for a report of a vehicle burg. Report taken.

•Called to the 500 block of Riverside for a report of a vehicle burg. Report taken.

•Flagged down regarding a vehicle burg in the 600 block of Riverside. Report taken.

•Called to the 300 block of Emerald Drive for a report of a vehicle burglary, Firearm was stolen- .38 special with brown holster, used to be black. Report taken.

•Called to the 400 block of Mullan Ave for found property, ID inside, owner was contacted that we have the purse.

•Parking citations issued on S Division.

•Followed up on the rash of vehicle burgs. Suspect have been identified and charges/arrests pending. Great job K77.

•Called to Silver Mountain for a parking complaint, parking ticket issued for parking in the emergency vehicle only parking area.

•Report of a noise complaint at Silver Mtn. Resort. Made contact with the group and gave a verbal warning for the noise.

•Disturbance/threats at Longshot (Railroad Avenue). Subjects were removed from the establishment prior to arrival and there were no threats made (just name calling). Parties were separated without incident. Peace restored.

•Welfare check on S. Division, Kellogg. Welfare check on a 16-year-old female. This was the incorrect location and this call was referred to County.

•Citizen contact x3 at Silver Mountain near the dumpsters at the base of the Gondola. They actually walked up to my vehicle and there was no issue. They just wanted to inform me they were being too loud for their neighbors so they decided to go for a walk, advised to stay on the property as they had open containers. Necessary Action Taken (NAT).

•Noise complaint at Silver Mountain. People got into the hot tubs after hours again and were being loud. They left and went back to their room(s).

•Finished certification on breath testing devices.

•Called to the 700 block of S Division for a 911 hang up, everything was code 4. Cleared.

•Citizen contact regarding property issues. Public assist.

•ATL for vehicle and person out of Mineral County. Unable To Locate (UTL).

•Called to E Portland for a Mal injury to property, however it turned out to be in the County. Other agency assist.

•Not feeling sad for the Saints’ “no call”. As a Viking fan, I remember several “no calls” on Brett Favre during a championship game a few years back. Remember Bounty gate? Yes, I’m still bitter.

•Motorist assist at I-90 frontage road. Apparently, driver just serviced his 4WD and didn’t place wires back to where they belong. Leaving the loose wires to wrap around the drive line and snap. Driver also reported a hit and run on I90. K75 relayed info to K74, who was able to locate the driver and cite for no insurance.

•Called to Diamond for suspicious circumstances. Was unable to locate the rest of the body causing the suspicious foot prints.

•Reports of juvenile party 400 block of W Mullan. Cleared unfounded.

•Threats call on E Mill Avenue. K74 handled as it was at the end of K76’s shift.

•Single vehicle crash I90 exit 51. Only damage was to vehicle (under 1500 - not re-portable). Photos taken and citation issued for Insurance.

•Suspicious person in the Emerald sub-division, no further information. We were able to find and follow tracks in the snow behind a couple unoccupied homes. Does not appear that entry was attempted. Extra patrols conducted along with foot patrols in the area.

•Possible juvenile party 400 block of W. Mullan. Drove by location and it was dark with no activity. Unfounded.

•Possible threats via social media E. Mill. There were no clear threats given or made and the person has since been blocked. Stemming from a prior civil issue. Public assist.

•LL request regarding squatters at 614 Upper Third. Made contact with said squatters and told them the owner wants them removed. Also informed said party that owner is getting eviction process started.

•Arrested one adult male for a felony Failure To Appear (FTA) warrant.

•Crash report. 1224 assisted as K75 requested. K75 was up finishing his warrant arrest when the call came out. Information exchanged and report taken.

•Traffic stop on Mill Street. Cleared verbal for speed.

•Traffic stop Cameron/Chestnut. Verbal for headlight.

•Traffic stop 800 block of W. Cameron. Verbal for headlight.

•Suspicious person Howard/Elder, person sitting in a vehicle left when confronted. Located vehicle and there was more than one person inside, no PC for stop.

•Traffic stop Hill/Bunker. Verbal for stop sign and vehicle registration (they already received a citation for registration from ISP).

•Verbal warning given to vehicle parking on Division in Wardner.

•Located open door on a residence 900 block of Division in Wardner. Resident was home, NAT.

•Called to 400 block S. Division for runaway juvenile.

•Assist County in Govt. Gulch for a battery. Suspect fled scene and had a misdemeanor warrant.

•Cleared other agency assist.

•Finished runaway report and entered into NCIC.

•Found property at Silver Mountain. Cleared, public assist.

•Called to 200 block for harassment. Cleared, public assist.

•Runaway juvenile from earlier was reported to be in Pinehurst. K75 relayed information to County and assisted with the arrest. No more car burgs for you Mr. Runaway. Cleared other agency assist.
