Kellogg Police Department

- Removed tagged vehicles from city parking lot behind YMCA. Nickerson’s Towing towed the vehicles, even a boat.

- Evidence work.

- Looked over a H&W case from the County.

- Landline request regarding citizen contact at Amy Lynn Apartments. Cleared negative contact.

- Landline request regarding previous burglary report. Cleared negative contact.

- Traffic stop on Hill Street for failure to stop. Cleared verbal.

- Citizen contact at KPD regarding runaway juvenile. Cleared refer to other agency.

- Welfare check 300 block Main Street, Kellogg. One male was placed on a PC hold as he had injured himself and made several self-harm remarks.

- Welfare check 700 block Upper Third. Contact made, message relayed to contact family.

- Civil Papers — Attempt x1, no answer x1

- Agency Assist (medical) 100 block Cathryn — assisted with lifting and loading patient.

- Report of injury to child (person under 18 rather) that took place at the Kellogg Cemetery. Victim at SMC. After interviews and further investigation, this took place in the county where gasoline was poured on subject during bonfire resulting in the injuries sustained. Assisted county with the completion of the investigation. Suspect was taken into custody.

- Assist Osburn Police Department with DUI arrest. Transported operator’s animal to Osburn Pound.

- Motorist assist, I-90 westbound on-ramp at milepost 50. Vehicle would run briefly (out of gas). Advised to pull further off the roadway as they would be a hazard after dark, and they proceeded to exit 49. Vehicle then died in the middle of the road ... so it was towed. Report taken.

- Report of stolen bike/civil matter. Bike was later returned to the owner. Cleared public assist.

- Unwanted subject at Trail Motel ... been a while since we’ve had to go there. Public assist.

- While at Trail Motel, patron of the Trail found a wallet while walking around. Wallet was taken to KPD for safe keeping.

- Suspicious circumstances at Yoke’s, male standing around motorcycle talking to himself. All was code 4 and responsible party was in the store. cleared public assist.

- Attempt paper service — paper not served.

- Foot patrol Main, McKinley.

- Reports.

- Landline request regarding lost wallet. Owner will retrieve lost item tomorrow.

- Citizen contact at Fairbridge. Cleared public assist.

- Found property in Kellogg City Park — wallet was found. Attempted to return to owner, address on Driver’s License seems to only be a shop, but everything was locked up. No further contact information in-house in order to call subject. Wallet to be placed up front in the event someone calls regarding property. Wallet was returned to owner.

- Traffic stop, I-90 milepost 49 westbound on-ramp — verbal for speed.

- Civil stand-by 100 block of E. Portland. Resident was not home/no answer — unable to complete stand-by.

- Disturbance at Silver Mountain Water park — this was more pre-emptive than an actual disturbance, subject was told to leave and did so without further issue. No trespass at this time. Peace restored.

- ATL for Possible 8004 driver that left the scene of a crash in the county.

- Called to a county assist for a truck vs. motorcycle on the I-90 milepost 48 off ramp. Third party reported that they were having a verbal altercation and may fight, the truck was the individual from the ATL from earlier. Cleared other agency assist.

- Assisted K77 with suspicious activity behind the second hand store at Cameron and Hill Street. Cleared agency assist.

- K76 was able to contact the male from the suspicious circumstances per the RP description and advised K77 so he could come speak to him.

- Citizen contact with suspicious male at the Cameron Conoco. Cleared N.A.T

- Called to the Silver Mountain property for vehicle doing doughnuts, nothing of that nature was seen upon arrival and the RP was a passerby on the road. Everyone was asked to leave and did so.

- Called to the 400 block of Main Street in Wardner for a malicious injury to property. Report was taken.

- Dispatched to the 100 block of W. Cameron Avenue for suspicious activity. Spoke with both parties but one party would not admit to committing a crime. Cleared NAT.

- Dispatched to the 300 block of Ohio Street for a possible intoxicated driver/verbal domestic. With the help of other units, individual was located on McKinley Avenue but was not driving. Individual was taken to the nearest hotel where they booked a room for the night.

- Traffic stop in the Humdinger parking lot for speed.

- Traffic stop at Cameron and Hill Street. Dave Smith vehicle, no dealer plate — verbal.

- Citizen contact in the 100 block of West Riverside with a suspicious female laying in the trees — N.A.T.

- Called to the 600 block of N. Hill for a vehicle that’s been parked for a while, Attempted contact with the owner to get it moved as it is just on the RP’s property — Negative contact.

- While patrolling K76 was flagged down by a passerby about a male throwing firework out of a car, RP was not willing to sign and could not ID the individual.

- Citizen contact in the Yoke’s parking lot regarding reports of them following the friends of a recent victim, female then had many other questions.

- Dispatched to 300 block of W. Cameron for a window shopper of vehicles. Checked the area but was unable to locate.

- Assisted K76 with a citizen contact in Yoke’s Parking lot.

- Called to the Gondolier for a couple sleeping in their car. K73 banged on the window which made the driver wake up. When snoozy woke up, he took his foot off the brake (yes, he fell asleep before putting the car in park). This caused him to do a slow roll across the parking lot into a very large pole. This woke the wife who was startled then very angry. No damage done, well other than snoozy’s pride. Driver was not under the influence of anything other than fatigue from driving all night. Cleared NAT.

- Assist county with a recovery of a stolen Dave Smith vehicle up Burke.

- K77 and K75 vehicle now has A/C again. Yeah.

- Assisted K77 on a traffic stop at Hill and Railroad.

- Traffic stop in front of Cd’A bank — verbal.

- Foot patrol with K77 at Amy Lynn Apartments, E. Idaho, Cameron Avenue, as well as the alleyways near the 300 block of West Cameron.

- Landline request regarding fireworks — public assist.

- Dispatched to 400 block of Chestnut for theft of property. Spoke with reporting party but later cleared unfounded.

- Dispatched to 700 block of Mill Street in Wardner for suspicious activity (possible prowlers). Searched the area but did not locate anyone. Cleared unfounded.

- Conducted a traffic stops on Hill Street near Humdinger & Railroad Avenue. Cleared both of them verbal.

- K77 and K73 assisted 1224 as he found a female doing “whipit” (huffing Reddi Whip) behind the Cameron Conoco. Said Devo fan ran from 1224 all the while yelling at him to have a nice day along with waving at him using her middle fingers. She jumped into the river did a few back strokes still telling 1224 to have a nice day. Crossed the river and ran across town. Had reports of her trying to climb a tree near W. Idaho and then last seen on W. Portland. Her wet footprints started to dry up and we were unable to locate Ms. whip it good. Last seen wearing all black but with no “energy dome hat.”

- Let’s not forget why we celebrate Fourth of July ... you know it is the day Will Smith saved us from aliens. Just kidding.
