Shoshone County Fire District No. 2 Incident report

Calls for service are from June 5-12. Message from Fire Chief Mark Aamodt: Everyone must have an IDL burn permit while burning grass and other natural debris. Tall grass will dry very quickly and the fire will make quick runs. In the past week, damage occurred to a mobile home and threatened a second out building due to the fast moving nature of the fire. Please remember to always attend the fire, have a hose, water and tools available. If you think you cannot control the fire, call 911 for help.
