Sprucin’ Up Pinehurst 2019

This is the sixth year of “Sprucin Up Pinehurst.” Thanks to so many businesses, organizations, residents, churches and individuals who have had a part in helping make it possible for six years.

The hanging baskets arrived the middle of May and they are already looking great. They are all up, from Heritage Park and down Division Street.

Planters are all planted within the City Parks and City Hall. Six new trees were planted at Heritage Park and new shrubbery added on the side yard of City Hall. We raffled a flower basket again this year and Bob Burden was the winner. Congratulations Bob, you will enjoy it clear into the fall.

Thanks to the Pinehurst/Kingston Lions Club who volunteered to host a benefit breakfast and to all who came and supported us, city of Pinehurst, clerk Carla Ross, street department — Dave Olson and Calvin Rich, Bob Jutila — Perfection Auto Body, Brad Kitchen — Fort Sherman Academy, Scott Reed — Mountain Valley Family Practice, Our Savior Lutheran Church, Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Steve Knoll — S&J Striping, Watts Electric, Shoshone Honda & Yamaha, West Valley Realty, Blondies, Valley Power Sports, Pinehurst Storage, Goose in the Tree Café’. We appreciate it all. Donors and volunteers are great and we couldn’t do any of this without their help. We live in a beautiful area and are proud of our city, and it shows. Thanks to all!
