Vote YES for the KSD bond!
I am voting yes for the Kellogg School District bond for the simple fact that I want my children to spend their days in an environment that they can feel proud of and safe in.
They deserve toilets that flush on the first try, windows that keep the cold out and bleachers that are not unsafe to walk up.
My kids at Kellogg Middle School and Pinehurst Elementary School have hard-working, intelligent and caring teachers who are doing a great job in educating them with the resources they have now.
The district finally has a wonderful new Superintendent who is supportive to all district staff, will administer CPR if you fall unconscious during a staff meeting, and she is being uber transparent about where the bond money will be spent (see ksdpride.org).
I feel confident that more positive changes are on the horizon with her leadership. Our schools are old; they need a little more than duct tape patching. This is the right time to step up and support our kids, our schools, our community!
So get out on Tuesday, May 21st and vote YES!
