- Opening day of the Route of the Hiawatha. Trail passes, equipment rentals, shuttle passes and lunch can be reserved at Lookout Pass, I-90 at the Idaho/Montana line or online at ridethehiawatha.com.

- Shoshone County Fire Chiefs golf tournament at the Pinehurst Golf Course, 11 Country Club Lane, Pinehurst. Registration at 8 a.m., shotgun start at 9 a.m. All proceed go to the Shoshone County Fire Prevention Cooperative and the 1910 Memorial Fund 501(c)3.

- Friday night dance at the Kellogg Senior Center from 7-10 p.m. every Friday. Music by Jerry and Faith.

- VFW Post 1675 Memorial Day cemetery visits. JROTC presenting colors and honoring veterans at various locations in the Silver Valley. Day starts at the VFW Hall — 8:45 a.m.; Gene Day Cemetery — 9 a.m.; Good Sam Nursing Home — 9:30 a.m.; Mullan Cemetery — 10 a.m.; Nine Mile Cemetery — 10:30 a.m.; Murray Cemetery — 11:45 a.m.; Hunt/Bisaro Cemetery — 1 p.m.; Pinehurst Cemetery — 1:20 p.m.; Greenwood Cemetery — 2 p.m.; day ends at the VFW Hall — 2:30 p.m.
