Kirk Lee Hoskins, 64

Kirk Lee Hoskins (Goose), 64, passed away Friday, May 24, 2019. He was born in Wallace, Idaho, to Vern and Ann Hoskins on July, 27, 1954.

Kirk graduated from Kellogg High School in 1972 and married Janice (Brown) Hoskins on Aug. 18, 1979. They had two children, Tiffany Hoskins Allen and Lee Hoskins. Kirk worked in the mining industry for 40 years at various mines throughout the country, ending up as the assay lab superintendent in Yuma, Ariz. Kirk and Janice got back to the Pacific Northwest when they retired to St. Regis, Mont., and he enjoyed golfing on the local course and spending time in their gun store and grocery store.

Kirk was preceded in death by his mother, Ann Hoskins; his niece, Tiffany Hayward and his nephew, Jeffry Foster. Kirk is survived by his father, Vern Hoskins; his wife, Janice Hoskins; his children and grandchildren, Lee (Ashleigh) Hoskins with Kirk Allen, Kamilla, Kaden, Klyde and Kesleigh Hoskins, and Tiffany (William) Allen with Alexander Allen; his siblings, Karen (Rod) Foster, Keith Hoskins and Kay (Kevin) Edwards; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A celebration of life will be held in honor of Kirk at 5 p.m. Saturday, June 1, 2019, at the Elks Club in Kellogg, Idaho. Please join us to tell a story and raise a glass to Kirk.
