KPD Roll Call: May 21-28

•School patrol.

•Assist K75 with a traffic accident on S Division.

•Foot patrol City Park.

•Crash on S. Division and EB 51 on ramp. Cleared report taken.

•Foot patrol Main, McKinley, W. Idaho.

•911 hang-up 400 block main in Wardner. All was code 4, phone company has been working on the phone lines.

•911 call to report a dog at large. Discussed with Reporting Party (RP) that was not an emergency call and gave proper number for dispatch. RP did not agree that it was not a 911 emergency. K75 and RP agreed to disagree.

•Agency assist. SMC called for an uncooperative patient. K75 was able to find his reading glasses at his residence, he was code 4 after that.

•Extra patrol requested on E. Market.

•Called to a possible 8004. Upon my arrival, female was having medical issues not DUI. Cleared refer other agency.

•Citizen contact at Shoshone Apartments for above female. K75 notified family member so they could arrange pickup after being cleared.

•Landline made regarding abandoned vehicle in Wardner. Vehicle tagged for 48hr (5-28-19 0900) removal. The current license plates are expired, but when running by VIN, it shows current registration with a title that was transferred today. RP said she spoke with owner that would not give a name and was told it does not run.

•Welfare check on hitchhiker Hill St near I90. Female subject and nothing else reported other than hitchhiking. Unable to Locate (UTL) the person by the time K74 arrived.

•Moved the local dumpster diver along from the garbage cans at the church on W. Mission/Sunset. She said she was leaving items for donation. K74 told her to grab her belongings and leave. She left behind items if anyone in the area reports missing items (they appeared to be old nick-nacks and ornaments of some sort).

•Civil Papers x4, served x3. The 4th one is out of town on vacation until June 5 (noted on the paper).

•Assist Pinehurst with traffic stop on 45 on-ramp. Subject with felony warrants out of Washington. Note: Don’t use your deceased brother’s ID when contacted by police because, he too, may have warrants.

•Citizen contact at Cameron Conoco. Store was closed and educated individual on proper use of bathrooms.

•Citizen contact at Hill Street Conoco. Parked next to pumps not fueling. They moved along.

•Agency Assist ISP with locating some of their property. Property was located and they were notified.

•Attempt to locate (ATL) possible DUI westbound I90 from Wallace. Unable to locate.

•Animal complaint, barking dog(s) in the Emerald Subdivision. Foot patrol Emerald, Beryl, Agate, State, Bunke. Heard 1 or 2 yelps, no barking and unable to pinpoint where it came from. Spoke with some residents on Bunker that heard the same thing off and on and they were unable to pinpoint as well. 45-55 minutes of foot time. Unable to locate.

•Agency assist. Fight in progress at Osburn Club. Domestic with arrest, county assist.

•Motorist Assist I90 51, located vehicle at 53. Commercial driver out of hours, directed to WalMart to park.

•Called to Yokes for report of petit theft. Cleared cite and release.

•911 hangup at 300 block W. Brown. All was code 4 cleared public assist.

•Citizen contact at KPD regarding questions about his vehicle. Cleared public assist.

•Citizen contact at KPD. Male wanted to know how to get a copy of a report, K75 gave him directions to do so. Cleared public assist.

•E-Impact report from yesterday and finished petit theft report.

•Report of theft from Sierra Nevada Road. Cleared report taken.

•Assist county with out of control juvenile. Cleared unable to locate.

•Parking complaint on upper 3rd, cleared unfounded.

•Parking complaint on E. Market. Cleared verbal warning.

•Injury crash I90 westbound at 51.

•While assisting with investigation/traffic control, witness to the crash came back with confirmed warrant out of Kootenai County. Took subject into custody without issue. Warrant served at SCSO.

•Assisting with traffic control, subject rolled up through closed road (Interstate was shut down for crash re-construction and someone decided they did not need to heed the road closed/detour). As this happened in county, turned over to county. Driver was cited.

•Citizen contact at KPD regarding questions on when the city pool opens. Public assist.

•Traffic stop, Main and Silver. Driver taken into custody for DUI. Arrest made, report completed.

•Responded to the 200 Block of Kellogg Ave, for a verbal domestic. Peace was restored.

•Dispatch to road hazard on I-90-mile post 49. While en route, a very kind motorist removed the hazard before my arrival.

•Motorist assist I-90-mile post 49. Individual struck the road hazard K77 was dispatched to.

•Called to Amy Lynn’s for hit and run. Cleared report taken.

•Took 3 dogs into pound. Before leaving the owners contacted K75 so dogs were released.

•Welfare check 700 block division. Cleared Necessary Action Taken (NAT).

•Assisted K77 in 911 hang-up in the area of Amy Lynns. Unable to locate.

•Traffic stop on Hill Street for stop sign violation, verbal.

•Traffic stop on Hill Street for stop sign violation, verbal.

•Traffic stop in the 600 block McKinley for no plates, verbal.

•Traffic stop at Main and McKinley for no plates, verbal.

•Traffic stop in the Hill Street Conoco parking lot for no plates, verbal.

•Dispatched to a 911 hang-up in the vicinity of E. Portland Ave. Attempted to locate source but was unable to find anyone in need of law enforcement assistance.

•Assisted K76 with a couple of traffic stops.

•Land line request about a call from January.

•Land line request about a missing lawn mower and weed eater. Items were located, not stolen.

•Land line request about a 911 hang up from the night before.

•Park patrol.

•Traffic stop in the Hill Street Conoco for stop sign violation, verbal.

•Called to the 300 block of west Cameron regarding trespassing issues, public assist.

•Flagged down regarding a dog that got away, dog was located at Longshot Bar. Dog was denied a cocktail as it did not have any ID. Dog was returned to owner, public assist.

•Flagged down for a woman going through garbage up town in the alleyways, unable to locate.

•Unresponsive male in subway, medical was called and male was woke back up as medical was en route and was code 4. Thinking he fainted when he saw the prices of the subs nowadays. Cleared other agency assist.

•Assisted KMS & parents with a student that did want to get out of bed this morning. Picked up said sleepy head and escorted him to school. Offered to pick him up from school for the rest of the school year if need be, as it’s on my way to do school patrol (Sleepy head made it to school the next day without my assistance).
