Pinehurst City Council: Rick Fuller
Rick Fuller is running for Pinehurst City Council (2-year term).
Fuller is running against incumbent Debbie Marek and fellow challenger Brent Briggs for the single seat.
Fuller is a 1984 Kellogg High School graduate and studied computer sciences at Whitworth College.
Fuller is a life-long resident of Pinehurst, is married and has two adult children.
Before owning and operating his business The Mouse Pad in Pinehurst, Fuller worked in heavy construction for 20 years.
“I have 20 years of construction experience that also includes project management and supervisory roles,” Fuller said. “I will fill the necessary requirements through my life experiences, education and common sense mentality.”
Fuller’s main priority if elected is to provide common sense leadership through active communication with co councilmen and the citizens of Pinehurst.
“I would seek to provide a voice and open door policy to all residents and push for likewise efforts of our city government through newer technology and alternative forms of communication,” Fuller said. “However, I see other areas that need addressed as well as leadership with common sense actions rather than agenda driven self serving interests. While I am a registered Republican I would have to say I’m more of a Constitutionalist. I believe in less government, less regulation, less restrictions and more freedom. I have seen many changes over the years, I would like to see the entire community benefit from the decisions our local elected officials make rather than local officials passing laws out of an agenda or making decisions without considering the consequences of all citizens.”
