Ronald Joseph Mulalley, 79

Ronald “Ron” Joseph Mulalley, 79, of Wallace, Idaho passed away on November 1, 2019 at the Shoshone Medical Center in Kellogg, Idaho. Ronald was born July 9, 1940 in Genesee, Idaho; the son of Clayton and Nellie (Oliver) Mulalley.

Ron attended and graduated from Troy High School in Troy, Idaho. He later moved to the Silver Valley in the late 1980’s. Ron worked at a number of different jobs over the years. He worked at Clearwater paper, he cut firewood and was a master gardener before retiring.

Ron was united in marriage to Karen Canterbury in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho in 2000.

In his free time Ron loved to be outside. He loved hunting, fishing, huckleberry picking and mushroom hunting. He also was known to tell jokes. He loved to laugh and have a good time with his family and friends.

Ron is survived by his beloved wife of 19 years Karen Canterbury and her children Ty Stanghill and Kristin Stanghill; four children, Kevin Mulalley, Nikki (Chad) Gilbertson, Mark Mulalley, Michael Mulalley and six grandchildren. Ron is also survived by three siblings Jeanette, Mary, Jerry and numerous nieces and nephews. Ron was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Alene, Betty, Mick and Kathy.

A Celebration of Ron’s Life and pot luck dinner will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2019 at the Kellogg Elks Lodge, 202 ½ McKinley Ave W. Kellogg, Idaho from 11:00a.m. to 2:00p.m. Please feel free to bring a food item, a photograph and a memory to share.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations may be made to the Shoshone County Food Bank 311 Main Street, Kellogg, Idaho 83837.
