WEDNESDAY, OCT. 2

- Bunker Hill workers meeting at noon Timbers Road House in Cataldo.

- It Club after school program from 1:45 to 3 p.m. at the Pinehurst Library. Kids are invited for a program that does “it” all — from science and technology to art and exploration. Each It Club is a new adventure. Geared toward kids K-5. Snacks provided.

Walking tour of Dante’s Peak filming sites at 3:30 p.m. starting at the Sierra Silver Mine Tour. Preservation/Tax Incentive Workshop at 7 p.m. at the Sixth Street Theater. Dan Everhart of the Idaho State Historical Society will talk about hot businesses may qualify for tax breaks for historic preservation.

- Friday night dance at the Kellogg Senior Center from 7-10 p.m. every Friday. Music by Jerry and Faith.

Bicycle Soldiers of Fort Missoula lecture at 11 a.m. at the Wallace Mining Museum — learn from the Frontier Regulars (reenactors from Spokane area). Idaho Rocks & Gems lecture with local expert Brenda Johnson at 11 a.m. at Johnson’s Gems. 19th Century Warfare & Weapons lecture with weapons expert James Teague at 1 p.m. at the Wallace Mining Museum. Cemetery Comes to Life from noon to 4 p.m. at the NPR Depot — Catch a trolley to Nine Mile cemetery where a tour guide will introduce actors playing the notable and notorious. Medical Advances in the late 19th Century lecture with reenactor Mike Inman at 3 p.m. at the NPR Depot. Fans and Frivolity in the 19th Century dinner theater featuring “proper ladies” of the Civil War era at 6 p.m. at the Wallace Firehouse.
