– Vandalism uptown Kellogg. Several buildings uptown along with several vehicles throughout Kellogg were spray painted. It looks like it was done by a 5-year-old but the surveillance camera footage says otherwise. I’m sorry that was not nice, ....most 5-year-olds could do better. Report taken.

– Note to self, don’t post something on the KPD Facebook page when tired, in a hurry and from your phone without your reading glasses. Ohh….Who I’m I kidding you know me I would still have misspelt something.

– Dispatched to a report of unlawful entry at the 100 block of Legion Ave. No actual unlawful entry occurred. Cleared - Public Assist.

– Checked a residential open door at the 300 block of Riverside Ave. The house was clear and secured, and contact was made with a responsible party. Cleared – NAT.

– Dispatched to a report of possible Malicious Injury to Property at the 100 block of E. Portland Ave. Unable to contact the property owner. The scene was documented and a report will be filed. Cleared - Report Taken.

– Citizen Contact with two subjects out walking at Division St. & Station Ave. regarding the Malicious Injury to Property incident. Cleared – NAT.

– Assisted County Deputies with taking a wanted subject into custody. Cleared - Other Agency Assist.

– Assist K72 with malicious injury to property.

– Assist K72 with open door 300 block Riverside Ave.

– Citizen contact @ KPD regarding questions on possible stalking issue - nothing occurring in Kellogg, advised to contact agency where issues are taking place when possible. Referred to other agency.

– 2 vehicles up for tow - one will be taken care of by owner, the other was taken by tow company - report taken.

– Unwanted subject 500 block of 2nd Street - turns out the subject lived there without knowledge of rental company - Unfounded for criminal activity.

– Landline regarding possible child neglect - no welfare check needed as RP was with child and there was no imminent danger - advised to contact Health and Welfare for investigation to begin.

– Landline request regarding property being recovered.

– Took a hit and run report of a vehicle on the 100 block of W. Mission Ave.

– Dispatched to a vandalism on the 100 block of Emerald. Attempted multiple times to contact reporting party but was unable to speak with them. K77 will attempt again on his next shift.

– Landline request regarding a broke down vehicle on the 100 block of W. Cameron Ave. Vehicle was later fixed and moved off the street.

– Assisted K74 with an assist from another agency on the 100 block of E. Portland Ave. Residence turned out to be just fine.

– Dispatched to the 500 block of 2nd St. for an unwanted subject. Turned out to be a resident of the home. No action was taken.

– Animal complaint 100 block E. Portland - dogs left in vehicle. Dogs were not there upon arrival, turned into civil issue with vehicle being parked on marked private property - Unfounded for the dog portion.

– Assist agency - person refusing to leave court house - cancelled prior to arrival.

– Assist agency - debris in the roadway WB 90 @ 51.5 - it was removed.

– Business alarm 300 block McKinley - cancelled prior to arrival – construction.

– Vehicle abandoned on private property 100 block Vergobbi - tagged for removal.

– Parking ticket 100 block W. Cameron.

– Parking ticket Division/I90.

– Parking complaint 200 block W. Mission - owner contacted and vehicle was moved without issue.

– Received a report from Dave Smith Security that there may be a gas leak inside the main entrance to Dave Smith Motors. Fire was requested and cleared the scene without incident. Cleared – NAT.

– Received a report of unwanted subjects camping at the end of Baillie Way. One subject was contacted, advised that the property owner did not want them camping, and removed. Cleared – NAT.

– Assisted a County Deputy with booking a dog into the Kellogg Pound. Cleared - Other Agency Assist.

– Traffic Stop at the 600 block of W. Cameron. Cleared - Verbal warning for incomplete stop.

– Dispatched to a civil standby on the 100 block of Legion. Informed the individual they were not allowed to go to the residence to recover property. Later on K77 ended up going to the residence and recovered their property for them.

– Received a landline request regarding a traffic infraction involving a school bus. Investigation is on-going. Report was taken.

– Responded to the 200 block of Emerald for a call from the previous day regarding property being vandalized. Report was taken.

– Landline request regarding a call which was handled by another agency. Reporting party was informed the initial investigating agency is the one to speak with about the issue.

– Dispatched to the 200 block of McKinley Ave. for a burglary alarm. Turned out to be a false alarm. Construction crew set of the alarm.

– Dispatched to the 400 block for disturbing the peace. Upon arrival I discovered there was no violation taking place.

– Dispatched to a report of possible Malicious Injury to Property of a vehicle at the Silver Mountain Resort. One female was taken into custody for Malicious Injury to Property. Cleared - Felony Arrest.

– Citizen Contact at the Kellogg City Park with an individual matching the description of a wanted subject. Cleared – Unfounded.

– Traffic Stop Eastbound I-90 at Milepost 51 (violation occurred in the city). Cleared - Verbal warning for equipment.

– Traffic Stop at the 100 block of E. Cameron Ave. Cleared - Verbal warning for incomplete stop.

– Assisted a County Deputy on a traffic stop as a cover unit. Cleared - Other Agency Assist.

– Assist medical with a female that had fallen in the Fairbridge Parking lot.

– Released a dog. Pinehurst dog.

– Patrolled Kellogg and Warde…… oops just Kellogg.

– Report approvals and corrections.

– SKOL. Yea We can beat mediocre teams.

– Called to SMC for courtesy transport. Cleared public assist.

– Citizen contact at Yokes parking lot. Individual wanted to inquire about recovering property.

– Dispatched to the 200 block for vandalism of vehicles. Report was taken.

– Landline request regarding a dog that was picked up by Pinehurst. Individual was referred to other agency.

– Agency assist at SMC for a courtesy transport to Bunker Ave.

– Assisted County with a residential alarm on the 800 block of S. Division in Wardner.

– Citizen contact at KPD regarding information on a burglary case that we have taken already. Information was passed on to investigating officer.

– Traffic stop on 51 on ramp-Verbal warning.

– Motorist Assist with a semi-truck that was lost into town after getting off the freeway. Google maps is very cruel sometimes. -Cleared Public Assist.

– Located Graffiti uptown on Main St. It was pretty fresh still when K76 located however, he couldn't locate anyone walking around at all. Spray Paint was silver in color. An incident has been created.

– K76 also contacted Walmart if anyone had purchased spray paint that night, since they are closed now at night, it was noted and loss prevention from Walmart will review footage and such to see.

– County Assist Moon Gulch. Several people fighting. Arrived on scene and then cleared as county units were code 4.

– Stationary radar Bunker Ave. No Stops.

– Patrolled side streets and alleyways.

– Reports - further reports, more reports.

– Follow-up/assist with other open investigations.

– Paperwork to Court.

– Agency assist with locating person for possible abandoned vehicle - (Forrest Service) gathered information and passed along to the agency.

– Landline request regarding civil stand-by.

– Copies of reports distributed to corresponding agencies (completed report on child abuse/neglect taken to Health and Welfare).

– County assist Smelterville, burglary in progress. Cleared shortly after arriving as the was unfounded.

– County assist Wardner for a felony warrant arrest. Cleared after subject was in custody.

– Stationary radar E Cameron Ave, one traffic stop for speed, Cleared verbal.

– County Assist with a notification on E Portland. (told parents that their child had been arrested on his warrant).

– 911 Hangup in the 400 block of W. Portland, cleared unfounded water on the line as it was storming pretty heavily.

– Power outage from the storm. Luckily Boot still had his flashlight to serve as his night light.

– Unlawful entry/Trespassing 500 block 2nd Street - located subject that fled prior to call and trespassed from the property - victim/owner did not want charges pressed at this time.

– Motorist Assist 100 block E. Market - battery dead and jump-start required. Subject was sent on the way.

– Continued follow-up for vandalism (video and photos passed on for publishing on Facebook)

– Stationary Radar 700 block Cameron Ave. No Stops.

– Assist K72 with traffic stop on Market Ave.

– Abandoned vehicle paperwork.

– Patrolled in the wind and the rain.

– Traffic Stop at W. Cameron Ave. & Utah Ave. Cleared - Verbal Warning for equipment.

– Traffic Stop at W. Market Ave. & Main St. Cleared - Citation Issued for Driving Without Privileges.

– Assisted K76 with a 911 hang up call.

–Citizen Contact at the Dave Smith Motors Tinting parking lot with a suspicious vehicle. Cleared Unfounded.

– Called to a 911 hang up in the 10 block of Kellogg Ave-Everything was code 4, child was playing with a phone.

– Courtesy transport for a male walking through the blizzard back to his house-Public assist.

– Watched snow come down.

– Battery that took place at the Kellogg Middle School (happened the day before) reported today with meeting for threat assessment - report taken with charges to be petitioned.
