•Conducted some public education for a youngster interested in policing.

•Landline Request regarding a parked vehicle. Cleared, public assist.

•Citizen Contact in the Yoke’s Parking Lot with an individual known to have a suspended license witnessed driving a vehicle. Cleared, citation issued for driving without privileges.

•Walk-in from a victim to update on a case.

•Dispatched to a reported fight not in progress at Silver Mountain Resort. The suspect was not on scene and units were unable to locate. Charges to be filed for battery. Cleared, report taken.

•Traffic stop at the 400 block of McKinley Ave. One female was taken into custody for driving under the influence. Cleared, misdemeanor arrest.

•Assisted K72 with fight not in progress at Morning Star Lodge. Cleared, agency assist.

•Traffic stop on Bunker Ave for stop sign violation. Cleared verbal.

•Assist K72 with possible DUI traffic stop. Cleared agency assist.

•Paperwork to Court for in-custody.

•911 hangup 300 block E. Market, residence looks to be under construction and did not appear to be anyone residing there at the moment. Number returned no longer in service (no answer) with nothing on the line during the call. Unfounded.

•Found property at District 2 Fire, property accepted and report created.

•Worked on reports and evidence.

•Took in a dog from Idaho State Police arrest, placed dog in the pound.

•Parade detail for Kellogg High Homecoming.

•Probie had his first court appearance. Don’t care who you are, this first time on the stand is definitely stressful to the point where you almost forget your name when they ask you. As Probie put it, “Interesting experience”.

•Received a walk-in report of harassment. The victim requested a report be made and the suspect be warned before pursuing charges. Cleared, report taken.

•Citizen contact out front of the Kellogg Pound. Cleared, verbal warning for driving with an invalid license.

•Assisted County deputy with booking a dog into the Kellogg Pound. Cleared, other agency assist.

•Citizen Contact at the 100 block of N. Hill St. with an individual who did not have their disability placard displayed in a disabled parking space. Cleared, unfounded.

•Dispatched to a welfare check for an individual stating “their house is missing” (Anyone else think of Poltergeist when they read that?). Everything checked out, as the reporting party misinterpreted a text message about the house being sold and was concerned for their mental health. Cleared, unfounded.

•Dispatched to a report of a possible intoxicated driver. The vehicle was located and a traffic stop was initiated for failure to maintain lanes multiple times. One male was taken into custody for driving under the influence. Cleared, misdemeanor arrest.

•Fire alarm at Fair Bridge Inn. Cleared unfounded.

•911 open line at the old Safeway building. Building secured and locked up. Cleared unfounded.

•Assist K72 with DUI arrest. Cleared agency assist.

•Assist K72 with Welfare check regarding male inside his house stating his house was gone. Misunderstanding from the RP. Cleared agency assist.

•Follow-up/continue active investigations, paperwork completion and submission for review.

•Suspicious person at the Odd Fellows shelter at City Park, camped with a rifle. Made contact with subject and he was super nice. Walking coast to coast currently heading back east. Needed a break...and it was a BB rifle that was secure, not out in the open. Verbal warning given for camping in City Park.

•Returned property to owner(s).

•Received information for ongoing active cases and passed that info to investigating officers.

•Took a report of hit and run in the 200 block of E. Riverside. Hey Mr. Hit and Run, you left your canopy behind. K74 would love to give it back to you, just swing by the PD and pick it up. We have some paper work for you as well.

•Citizen Contact at the KPD regarding an arrest the previous night. Cleared, public assist.

•Assisted K74 with a hit & run investigation.

•Dispatched to a motorist assist at the I-90 Eastbound Milepost 49 off ramp. Cleared, public assist.

•Landline request regarding K74’s hit & run case. Referred to the case officer. Cleared, agency assist.

•Released a dog from the pound. Cleared, public assist.

•Traffic stop on I-90 MP 49 on ramp for equipment. Cleared verbal.

•Ok who broke Fortnite? Good thing I play Apex.

•Citizen contact at Morning Star Lodge for possible 37 code. Attempted to contact tenants and had no answer. Cleared negative contact.

•Called to a citizen contact at the Cameron Conoco, however was canceled in route as the male had decided to leave before K76 arrived.

•Flagged down by Dave Smith Security for a male wandering around the 200 block of Cameron Ave. After making contact, male was very intoxicated. Male was taken in for detox.

•Attempt To Locate (ATL) for Reckless driver on Alhambra. Unable To Locate (UTL).

•Worked on locating/printing missing reports.

•Citizen contact with a suspicious person wandering around the Hill Street Conoco and 230 am, after making contact she didn’t want to talk much. Cleared, Necessary Action Taken (NAT).

•More locating/printing reports for front office.

•SKOL. No weak link this week.

•K72 deep clean of the patrol vehicle. Thinking I might have probie drive my patrol rig for a while.

•Traffic Stop at the intersection of Hill St. & Legion Ave. Cleared, verbal warning for failure to signal.

•Traffic Stop at the 000 block of Station Ave. Cleared, verbal warning for failure to signal.

•Dispatched to assist K76 with a fight in progress at the 200 block of W. Cameron Ave. Cleared, agency assist.

•Traffic Stop at the 000 block of Railroad Ave. Cleared, citation issued for obstructed license plate.

•Called to the 200 block of Cameron Ave. for a fight in progress. Victim signed a citation for battery. Cleared cite and release.

•Assisted K72 on a traffic stop in the 10 block of Railroad Ave, Cleared assist.

•Contacted a male riding his bicycle with no light in the 300 block of E Idaho, advised him he needed a light and decided he was going to go back and get one rather than continue to his destination. Cleared verbal.

•Assisted K72 on a traffic stop at Mission and Short Street. Cleared assist.

•Stationary patrol 400-800 block Bunker, 0 stops.

•Follow-up on active investigations / statements gathered / phone calls made.

•Reports.

•Found dog 100 block of Railroad, turned in to the pound (male pit mix very old).

•Unlawful entry 200 block of Flume. Looks like someone most likely a female decided to sleep and eat in the empty vacation house.

•Called to the 600 block of Bunker Ave. for a report of a battery that had occurred at a different location. The incident occurred 20 minutes or more before I was called. Other party involved had left prior to my arrival. Cleared NAT.

•Called to the 200 Block of Flume for a Unlawful entry, nothing was taken. Cleared report taken.

•Investigated possible Blackmail incident, victim did not want to pursue an investigation and other possible crimes cannot be proven at this time.

•Contacted Adult probation reference suspect for Hit and Run. Follow-up on investigation(s).

•Agency assist ISP with Trafficking arrest x2, transport to jail.

•Burglary 600 block of W. Cameron. Report taken while list of items is being compiled.

•Stationary patrols 400-800 block Bunker.

•Stationary patrols 200-400 block East Cameron.

•School patrols.

•Body cam video migration.

•County assist on a traffic stop I-90 mp 50.

•County assist Pinehurst for an active physical domestic. Suspect located in Smelterville. K73 transported the custody as the deputy needed to continue the investigation at SMC.

•Abandoned paper work to Nickerson’s towing.

•County assist with suicidal subject up Moon Gulch, canceled prior to arrival.

•Dog at large and/or caught in the 200 block of E. Cameron, upon arrival unable to locate animal or person.

•Spoke on the phone with someone regarding accident back in August, now they are injured and business is not helping. After gathering information, this was on private property and they were advised to file civil action and/or obtain an attorney.

•Hit and run crash in Yoke’s parking lot, one party found out whom the other party was prior to arrival and made arrangements to exchange information. Information gathered for info report only, no crash report.

•Suspicious person in/near SMC area. Made contact and the subject was not committing a crime, nor did she want to speak with me for very long. She was instructed to stay within sidewalk and crosswalks and offered a ride but she declined.
