| October 21, 2019 12:13 PM

Carolyn Marie Coast Stricklan of Spokane, WA passed away on October 15, 2019. She was born October 29, 1946 in Wardner, Idaho to Jack and Mary Ellen Coast. She grew up in Smelterville, Idaho. She graduated from Kellogg High School in 1965. She married Robert Stricklan on January 17, 1970.

Carolyn was a homemaker in Rose Lake, Idaho and worked for the Rose Lake Water Association out of her home for over 20 years. Robert’s job took them to Livingston, Montana until they could retire in 2009. They moved to Spokane, WA in 2016 to be closer to their daughter Brandi.

Carolyn took pride in being a wonderful wife to Robert and a loving mother to Jim and Brandi.

Carolyn loved elk hunting in the St. Joe with Robert, her mother Mary Ellen and step-dad Gilbert Moran. Her love of fishing came when her son-in-law, Brent introduced her to the sport. Carolyn was strong in her faith and looked forward to going to her home in Heaven.

She is survived by her husband, Robert, of 49 years; son Jim Nickerson, daughter Brandi (Brent) Lewis, and her 3 grandsons John Nickerson, Cole and Lane Lewis.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family asks for memorial donations to be sent to Pinehurst Community Bible Church P.O. Box 1119 Pinehurst, Idaho 83850
