•Dispatched to a report of theft at the 400 block of Bunker Ave. Cleared, unfounded.

•Attempted follow-up. Cleared, negative contact.

•Landline Request for a report of Grand Theft of a motor vehicle. Met with the reporting party. Follow-up to continue. Cleared, report taken.

•Traffic Stop at the 300 block of E. Idaho Ave. Citation Issued for driving without privileges.

•Welfare check at Trail Motel. Subject was code 4. Cleared public assist.

•Parking complaint 100 block W. Cameron, vehicle tagged for removal on private property at property owners request. Vehicle is currently registered, however not displaying current registration. Later contacted by vehicle owner and they have worked it out with property owner for vehicle to be there. Removed the notification for tow on Tuesday.

•Public Assist 600 block of W. Cameron, provided a courtesy transport to Wallace.

•Reports of hunters up in the Galena Ridge Area of Silver Mountain (Kellogg City Limits). Contacted one hunter that was working their way up the mountainside in order to get out of City Limits to continue hunting. Hunting license in order and an app showing them property lines. Directed them to Government Gulch as they will drop them out of the city limits quicker than walking a great distance.

•Child custody issues 600 block of W. Cameron. Upon arrival the child and other biological parent had already left. Remaining parent lives in Wallace and had already spoken with SCSO yesterday. Other parent lives out of county and possibly out of State. NO court order in effect and instructions were given to begin the process through the courts. Referred to other agency.

•Called to area of Amy Lynn’s for erratic driving. Cleared Unable To Locate (UTL).

•Assist County in Wardner for vehicle with open door. Cleared other agency assist.

•Online training.

•Citizen contact at Cameron Conoco. Cleared, Necessary Action Taken (NAT).

•LL request regarding erratic driver. Cleared public assist.

•Located a wanted subject at the 300 block of Main St. in Kellogg. One male was taken into custody for outstanding arrest warrants. Cleared, misdemeanor arrest.

•Received a landline for an animal complaint at the 500 block of Bunker Ave. One dog was booked into the Kellogg Pound. Cleared, NAT.

•Dispatched to a report of a verbal domestic in progress at the 200 block of Flume Ave. A civil stand-by was performed to facilitate property exchange and parties were separated for the time being. Cleared, NAT.

•Citizen contact on I-90 at Milepost 49 with a pedestrian on the shoulder of the highway. Courtesy transport was provided to Walmart in Smelterville. Cleare, public assist.

•Dispatched to a traffic complaint of a reckless driver in the area of the 100 block of E. Portland Ave. Cleared, unable to locate.

•Assisted a County Deputy with locating an individual for a welfare check. Cleared, other agency assist.

•Follow-up on open cases.

•Reports, lots of reports.

•Released dog from pound.

•Report of Burglary from a residence 700 block S. Division, report taken.

•Released another dog from the pound.

•Traffic Stop at the 800 block of McKinley Ave. Cleared, verbal warning for incomplete stop and equipment.

•Citizen Contact at the 700 block of McKinley Ave. with the occupants of a vehicle that yelling was heard from. The occupants were just excited to be on vacation apparently. Cleared, unfounded.

•Citizen Contact at Railroad & S. Division conducting emphasis regarding the vandalism in the area. Cleared, unfounded.

•Assisted a County Deputy as a cover unit while contacting a suspect who had reportedly threatened another with a firearm. Cleared - Other Agency Assist.

•Received a report of an open car door and open residential door at the 200 block of W. Riverside Ave. Made contact with the occupant of the home and everything checked out. Cleared, NAT.

•Took dog into pound from County.

•Traffic stop 1000 block on McKinley Ave. Cleared verbal.

•Reports.

•Report of stolen cat from Cameron Conoco. Cleared referred to other agency.

•Extra patrol in the morning up Galena Ridge.

•Called to Silver Mountain for a Noise complaint. Cleared public assist.

•Assisted K75 on a traffic stop.

•Possible reckless driving complaint on a cream/yellow Buick in the area of Hill/I90, believed the vehicle go onto I90 (unknown direction of travel). Checked the area and was unable to locate. No further description of vehicle.

•Arson 10 block of Railroad, report taken. Umbrella/picnic table had been burned/lit on fire. Investigation ongoing.

•Public assist at Steel Workers Hal. Female sitting in the rain with bags, made contact and it was a stranded pedestrian, provided courtesy transport to Walmart.

•Follow-up on crash investigation. Interview, citation issued and report will be amended (Mr. Hit and Run from last week came and asked fore his canopy.... JK. But He did make contact and turned himself in.)

•DUI crash on Kellogg Ave. Driver stuck a parked pickup. Driver refused FSE’s and Breath test. Cleared arrest.

•SKOL Hey we can win on the road.

•Assisted K73 with his DUI. Cleared agency assist.

•Extra patrols in the railroad and surrounding roadways per K74s Brief.

•Training.

•Verbal domestic in the 600 block of Bunker Ave, after investigation nothing criminal took place. Cleared, parties separated peace restored.

•Landline request regarding possible theft/fraud, referred to other agency. Possibly took place out in the county close to, or over a year ago.

•Possible abandoned vehicle abandoned vehicle 200 block E. Portland. Vehicle is currently registered and known to drive, nothing tagged.

•613 (patrol vehicle) has been resurrected....for now. Well that didn’t last long...it’s down again.

•School patrol.

•Video backup.

•School bus stop arm violation. Smile they have you on camera and your citation is imminent.

•Traffic stop at Bunker and Hill for stop sign. Clear verbal.

•Traffic stop in the 400 block Division for speed. Verbal.

•Called to a 911 hang up in the 100 block of Presley, contact was made and female wasn’t meaning to dial 911. Cleared NAT.

•911 hang up Presley Ave.

•Property line dispute on W Mission. X2

•Attempted to locate stolen VW Jetta.

•Follow-up on residential burglary.

•Report of grand theft 100 block W. Cameron. Lots of follow up on this case, soda Machine (coca cola) was taken from the front of Benzer (formerly Sunnyside drug) most likely at the beginning of the month. More follow-up tomorrow.

•Some things you realize when you’re a 40+ year old cop:

-Comfort before style

-You gain 20 pounds overnight

-Foot pursuits are no longer your strong suit.

-Decide it’s best to lay off the donuts

-You start taking things off your gun belt to ease your hip/back pain.

-You get annoyed at small things like dog calls and civil issues.

-21-year-old rookies look like 12-year old’s (Boot)

-Experiment with the Bang energy drinks you see K75 drinking.

-Realize the Bang energy drinks just make you have to pee more.
