OSBURN — The 38th annual Osburn Arts and Crafts Fall Fair is Nov. 2-3 and event organizers are looking to add more vendors to the popular fall tradition.

This year, there are a few new additions to the popular annual event that could make it bigger than ever.

After speculation that the fair could be shut down a few years ago, Osburn resident Ashlee Myles stepped up to make sure that didn’t happen.

“The last couple of years have gone really well,” Myles said. “It was a lot of work, but I think it is worth it for those small businesses and people who like to shop locally.”

This year the event will have live music on Sunday as Krista Hojem will be on hand to serenade shoppers as they make their way through the fair.

Also new to this year will be the addition of Darrell Lemieux who will be cooking breakfast and lunch to give folks a food option.

The fair holds a special place in Myles’ heart, as she remembers going when she was younger, but she also loves the idea of people buying and selling locally just in time for the holidays.

“I love the craft fair,” Myles said. “As a crafter (which she is) it’s a great way for people to make extra money, as a customer it’s a fun place to find holiday gifts for friends and family. I can remember coming to the craft fair with my mom and looking at all of the cool things made by these amazing people and I couldn’t see that go away.”

Myles still has availability for any vendors who want to be a part of the Nov. 2-3, event.

The craft fair will include handcrafted items, homemade jams, breads, pies, soaps, books by local authors, and much more.
