Merrilee Jean Becker, 84

Merrilee Jean Becker, 84, of Wallace, Idaho, passed away October 28, 2019 at the Shoshone Medical Center of Kellogg, Idaho. She was born September 6, 1935 in Chandler, Arizona; Merrilee was the daughter of Preston and Delight.

Merrilee attended High School in Las Vegas. She then went on to become a nurse and cared for her father in law in his final years. She left nursing to be a fulltime mother, which she considered to be her greatest blessing.

On May 5, 1955 Merrilee was united in marriage to William Becker in Nevada. Together they raised three children.

Merrilee was a loving and compassionate woman. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She also was very involved with numerous social and political organizations. She also enjoyed square dancing, spending time with friends and took pride in her long nails.

Merrilee is survived by her husband William Becker, her three children, two grandchildren, three sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister and brother-in-law, her uncle and a nephew.

Cremation will be held and no services are planned at this time.
